Jayme Gardiner rams Kinser Endicott

So..... Who thinks Kip Bigelow will take appropriate action in this situation. Like I have said before, I keep an eye on amateur racing and it seems more and more like who you know matters more than where you finish or what the rule book says.... ...Come on AMA- the ball is in your court!

He'll probably get penalized and a small fine for a few races, but that's about the extent of it. Criminal charges would be BS and it's highly unlikley he'll get booted from RCH for this one incident. Sure, it was a dipshit move and they'll slap his hand, but it'll be old news sooner than later and most in this thread will be "Gardiner who?" in a week.

They just finished a heated battle and for all we know Kinser could've said anything to spark him off. He could've said, "you're as slow as your whorebag mom" and walked away. Was it justified, no, but Kinser isn't some innocent poor puppy dog in this incident.

Well I know what DB stands for

LL qualifier in Cal - DB

Was that 2XL owner/promoter in the video trying to break it up?

Last time I checked, LL qualifiers are AMA sanctioned.....

I have a problem with "sometimes" rules for "some" and not others. From what I have seen - I bet nothing happens...

Skippy,

How bout a specific example of where Kip applied the rules differently?

I think the incident Don refers to, was when barcia ran from a french guy who wanted to get it on.

My experience with Gardiner is completely different - an awesome young man. Did he fuck up is this incident - absolutely. This one event does not define him. I find it comical that people are so quick to judge. Not one of you have ever reacted? Never done something stupid. Give me a fucking break!
X2. There probably isn't one other guy posting here that has ever met him.... yet they have him all figured out based on one incident. The guys saying he should be charged with assault with a deadly weapon are just ludicrous. How old is this kid? I'm assuming mid to late teens. And they want to throw him in jail. Crazy.

Be careful drawing Kip into this in a negative way before all of the facts have surfaced and an official AMA response is issued.

You can question any number of things that the AMA does and debate good or bad on those things but questioning Kip's personal integrity is quite another thing.

It was a chump move for sure but anyone who has been around racing has seen that or worse many, many times. A hot headed teenage racer is not something new.

Looks like a couple hot-headed kids making poor decisions in the heat of the moment, to me.

Yup. Endicott took him out and Gardiner made a stupid decision to ram him.

Both of them have a part in it.

Disagree. Endicott was making a clean pass, but Gardiner flubbed the corner entry due to taking his left hand off the bar and that put him into Endicott's line (see: 1:23). Simply a racing incident.

Gardiner caused the crash, then went after Endicott by cutting the track and followed that up by ramming him while off the track and bike. Imo, the only thing that Endicott could possibly be faulted for was walking over and talking (yelling?) to Gardiner.

Hey, we invented La Savate
The French do just fine one on one, we just have some issue with preparing for the previous war...

I think you should go re-watch the pass. At no point does Gardiners hand come off the bars until he is going down.

Endicott was coming in hot up the inside and Gardiner checked up, Endicott was aimed at the outside of the berm with no arch in his line at all.

Gardiner looked like he wanted to square up the turn initially and checked up once he saw Endicott but Endicott was already too close and there was nothing Gardiner could do.

I say the crash was caused by Endicott. Nothing bad or intentional, but still Endicotts fault.

You've threatened people with much greater harm than anything I've seen here.

I went back and watched it several times. I'm not 100% sure Gardiners hand came off the bar, but it sure looks like it to me, particularly when he got out of shape right afterwards and when Endicott was 6' to his right. I'd post a couple of screenshots, but don't know how to embed them.

You say it was caused by Endicott, I think it was caused by Gardiner. However, it seems that we both agree that it was just a typical racing incident. Nothing more.

Some of you are about as soft as a mother's love. I'm not saying what he did was justified, but assault with a deadly weapon, serious jail time? I thought this was a motocross forum, not home shopping network.
