redesigned moto websites...

What do you guys think of all the site redesigns? Racer X, Transworld, hell even Dirt Rider is posting to their site again... Any of this working for anyone?

Personally, I don't really like the changes and I think all of them are a step backwards.

This site, while good, has way too many banner ads going on for my taste. One of the best things about old MD was its simplicity.

I really like Racer X's redesign. It feels very much like the Sports Illustrated site, which I check out often and is really well done.

seems like everyone is doing it, LA Times and Wall Street Journal also changed their look, I'm on those two daily.

Personally I liked all the old designs. But, if they are going to change I would like to see them all the same. But, again, that would mean alot of web designers would be out of business, wouldn't it?.

Who cares about a new look. The content has been nothing for about a month on all of them. Did DC retire or something? And to think that we have 3 more months of off season to go. Yep those riders are over worked thats for sure.

Transworld I think took a step backwards. Really hard to navigate. Racer X seems to really work well for me. I like it.

Adam, not to get grump about it, but with Vital we travel to every National and Supercross to bring you guys latest in photos and information that we can. We also need to have an office, pay salaries, etc. That stuff's not free, and the ads pay for it.

I'd also hope that you guys support the people who support us. Smile
