Lot's of great choices, but the machine that most moved me as an impressionable 13yo was this one.

I drool over yours every time I see a picture of it. By the way, I usually don't quote pictures, but in this case, I think it's ok!!

Had these bikes been introduced a few months earlier, the starting gates around the country would not have been dominated by the CR125 Honda. Great running 125's.

I bought this bike from my Atl husky dealer minus the suspension, $4200 out the door with the brand new 125 top end . This thing is awesome. I also have a KTM 150 and now that one just sits the husky is so brapping crisp . I need to order new plastics to save the custom dirtbike race ones. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face.....

Have to agree; always had a soft spot for the 86-87 CR 125's.

I always had a soft spot for the Splitfire bikes as well. Very cool bikes with the green frames.

This thread makes me want to pick up a YZ125 real bad. I miss riding a sub 200 pound bike.

I do like how timeless the RM and YZs are though. The CRs and KXs from the same era seem more dated to me.

Well spotted. The time before this I had to take out the front wheels to fit in the van and I'd left it dangling for the week. haha. I borrow my friends tour van every time I take her out for a spin! Bit of a squeeze getting two bikes in here though.

This is why people wanted dirt bikes back then.
35 years and as trick as anything today.
That bike oozes cool.
