RV is racing in Canada swapping with Metcalfe ......hahahhaha....

In all honesty, there may be personal issues (that are nobody's business) possibly 100% unrelated to MX that RV may need to deal with....His stomach issue a few weeks back may have been an indicator of something....ormaybe someone close to him has issues....who knows....Often when you look for an explanation for a certain illness or even disconmfort - you find something you didnt count on....

If rumors turn out to be true and dude throws in the towel.....its certainly his and only is decision to do so....

Who do you think will be the next dominant rider? I think we'll have to wait for a while. Andersson? Cianciarulo?
This is such a cool question because it's so utterly unpredictable. My hope would be none of the above and that we'd finally be in that era of parity we're all hoping for but past history says that that's not gonna happen. Some one (or two) guys will dominate. It's just a wild ass guess but if I had to bet it would be Ken Roczen.

These guys may go on a tear and win a bunch.....and even some championships...
but being dominant is over...
did they win their first championships straight outta Compton or not....

Although I agree that, for now, no young riders is showing a potential to be as dominant as MC, RC or JS7, regarding Roczen, we should keep in mind the worst championship he did was his first one, finishing 5th in the world championship after missing the first races because of his age, indeed he was 15. Since he has always been upfront. It is his rookie year in 450, he may find another gearing in 2015. I just hope he can get great starts, because speed wise he should be there.

The 2 others that comes to my mind are Tomac & Barcia, although I think they did not transition as well as I expected, it still great but not as fast as RV, JS7 & CR22. I am a big believer in Tomac, his lap times last year were crazy, so I hope he proves me wrong next year.

Then who knows, maybe CP will join them !

I know that is a joke about RV racing in Canada, but did you know that he already has raced in Canada.
It was during his amatuer days back in 2003 (or so). COMPLETELY beat the shit out of everyone. I think he was 14 years old at the time and he was in the 125/Lites class. I think I have it on tape somewhere. I'll try and find it.

With Stewart and Reed not far behind, moto is about to take a serious hit.

Silver lining: The racing will likely be more competitive.

Actually it was 2005, I think. The year before he turned pro down south? Pretty sure. And I think he went 1-DNF, or something like that.

Would it be crazy to assume that maybe RV is in fact retiring at the end of his contact (2015), and maybe he is just formally announcing it at the press conference on Friday? Maybe that's where all the retirement rumors are coming from?

RV just dropped the mic and walked off stage. Encore will be Vegas, then peace out, nice knowing ya. If you wanna see him again book a hunting trip with him in Alaska.

Blue shock rings and reciever antenna placement make it look like a Team Associated RC10 b5. I dont think hes sponsored by an rc company so thats a few hundred bucks out of hiss own pocket haha

Also Stoner and Villopoto need to convince Herlings Cairolli and Marc Marquez to retire and race rc cars too or motorcycle racing is gonna be boring this summer!

If RV is retiring he must be working at a coffee shop in Oklahoma City called Elemental.

One of the guys working there could seriously pass for his twin (same hair style and everything). I've got a buddy that knows the coffee slinger, so I'll try to get a photo to put on here soon. lol
