This is where my 1 and a half year old wanted to be on Easter. She absolutely loves dirtbikes, watches SX with me every Saturday night, bring her out to the garage and she'll grab a wrench and go to town. So awesome.

I'm shocked at the learning rate and quickly these (girls) pick up riding, mine shocked me at 5 when she asked me "Grandpa when am I going to get a bike"?...

I've been a HUGE moto fan since the early/mid-1980's. I thought for sure some day I would have a son that I could share my passion for the sport. Needless to say I had no sons, but I was blessed with two amazing daughters (3 year old and a 5 year old).
Well, at this point neither one of them want a thing to do with motorcycles. At first I was a bit bummed, but I've learned that it isn't about sharing my passions with them that matter. It's them sharing their passions with me that ACTUALLY matter. Kind of cheesy I know, but it's been really enjoyable learning a new sport with my 5 year old. She really likes playing soccer and I'm happy for her.
I'm still holding out hope that maybe some day they might want to go for even just a trail ride with their Dad.

Congrats to you guys with little girls. I never had one. We tried twice and missed. I have two grown sons that both ride and it is awesome but I'll never have that "daddy's little girl" experience. On the plus side I do have a 5 1/2 month old grand daughter now (as well as a 5 year old grandson) and maybe one day she will ride with us.

My daughter has been riding since three and she loves it. She's on her 3rd bike now.

This is her first day on her KX65 last summer.

Awesome thread guys! Now I don't feel so bad for teaming up with one of my sons and getting a PW50 last month for our 3 Y/O granddaughter / his Neice! Of course, my oldest boy, the fastest of all of us, now has to explain to his beautiful wife why Grampa and Uncle Brandon really surprised him and he had NO IDEA WHATSOEVER that little Sadie was getting this birthday gift..........great thing is, mom's totally cool with it!

What? A chance to use a guys post to show off pictures of my daughters? Heck ya, I'll take that opportunity. I have two daughters, the young one still rides at 19 years old. The other one is pretty girly these days. The picture with the trophies includes their cousin.

Mine ride for 1 day when she was 8. The temp was about 100 in the shade and not a stitch of wind blowing. That convinced her to stick with volleyball. Sure did look cute in that gear while it lasted.

Huh, most of us posting in here aren't huge posters, yet we feel comfortable posting. It's a welcome change from all the typical stuff. Great pictures and stories everyone. Motocross/Supercross/dirtbikes transcends racing and how fast can you go. Those times spent with family riding together are priceless!

She may only be 7 days old, but she's got dirt running through her veins.

I have four daughters. All of them have rode dirtbikes at some point during their lives. This is my 19 year old Abby Jacks at a practice day at Lazy River Mx in Dalton, Ga a couple of weeks ago. Abby races, is a full time college student and and founder of Chix Mx. Check out www.Chixmx.com and look for us on all the social networks.
