Get well, JS! What a bummer.

It's obviously tough on the body and mind trying to keep up with Ryan Villopoto.

The pessimist says it can`t get any worse, the optimist says it can.

I realize it is an abstract thought most young people might not comprehend, but I am not at all anti 4-stroke.

The point inferred, was that based off injury rates in the past decade, it would be nice if the human body were somehow more able to handle the abuse that the top professionals endure in this current era of the sport. I am not simply referring to James' anecdotal mishap, but referring to the big picture. I'm a fan of great racing, so I'm bummed anytime a rider goes out.

Opinion: was James trying to turn too fast for that slippery corner, or was it just shitty luck?

And, does he even wear knee braces? doesn't appear to, but I hope I'm wrong...

At what point in the broadcast did they show this happen? I must have missed it somewhere. And to top it off my DVR stopped recording right after RV's interview after he won.

I never realized how many Dr's were on Vital until now! ACL, ACL ACL! Could just be he hyperextended it, bruised it, tweaked it etc etc. you can't automatically count him out. Guy hasn't even seen a Dr and you all assume he is done. I'm hoping for the best for him and wanna see him on the gate at Glen Helen

I'll have to go back and watch it. From all the comments it sounds bad.

I'm no Dr but I have done that same thing and torn ACL and meniscus(. I could feel his pain when he reacted. Sad
Looked like just one of them things.
Hope it's not as bad as it looked and he races outdoors though. He truly has looked great on that Suzuki this year.

Either way he's not gonna be in reasonable condition to start the nationals and if he's gotta race Dungey and maybe villopoto he doesn't stand a chance of being legit competition to them like that.

Exactly, If it's anywhere near a tear, I would take the summer off and get it fixed. IMO otherwise it will be 2013 all over again!

HAR! This place rules.

I hope it's not bad as it looked. This could be Eli's summer if he's out too!

Was bummed and had my stomach go into my throat as soon as I saw James grab his knee. At that moment I didn't know if RV was racing nationals or not and James was going to be my pick for the outdoors this summer.

Strange that in one night of racing.....my pick may of injured his knee , and my original pick who I thought "Might not" race......stated that he is.

My brain is on full melt down right now. I sure hope to God James just got a stinger....and will be 100% at GH! BUT.....if RV is racing....well , I gotta go with my guy!

Tonight......it hopefully upped his confidence a little. Hopefully he has a strong ride in Vegas and comes to the gate at GH ready to go. I think him and Kenny both are being overlooked a little.

RV said on pulpmx last night that he will be racing outdoors.. least opening round Glen Helen.

Devastated.

Praying for James that it isn't as bad as it looked.

The sport hasn't been the same without RC. Def don't want to lose Bubba, especially like this.
