Is there any word on how long Bagget will be out? I was really looking forward to seeing him in the outdoors.

Sad Feel bad for Blake, I know SX is not his MO, but he had a SOLID season. Hope he kicks ass in the Nationals.

We just need to pray that God heals his eye and vision.

Did it blow the lens out of the googles? Or just go between the helmet and googles?

What injuries has he really had? A broke wrist in supercross last year and a broke foot in the off season this past year?

Sounds like he had a case of the "Pingree". Ping and Sellards did the same thing when they were going to point out and had a "knee" injury.

Sellards got the flu between the heat race and the main event at the last round.. even though he won the heat by 6 seconds

His eye problem is he can't see himself riding 450's next year so he doesn't want to score points at the last two.

Yeah, especially after not "keeping him safe out there."

Bagget for the outdoors is going to be awesome.
How is this guy not ready for 450`s yet?

Some people are never ready for 450's. It has been proven that because you are good on 250's doesn't necessarily mean you'll be good on 450's and visa versa. IMO it should be two elite classes and you pick your poison.

Yep, he's had his fair share of injuries. Seems like stuff has come out of nowhere and sidelined him.

There's no denying that Baggett has an eye injury.. The picture shows that it is clearly swollen and cut open. I'm sure it would hurt to stuff that into a helmet and have goggles riding on it for 15 laps!

He knows he is a contender for the outdoors so why not let that thing heal and be ready for GH?

I don't think he is not riding so he can race lites again next year but that just my opinion!

I cant believe people are surprised that Baggett could get that cut with goggles on. and also that he could ride with that injury! some stitches don't hurt and some hurt LIKE HELL and I bet those are gnarly. can he even see out of that eye?

Once again, that picture is 2 weeks old. I doubt it's that bad still.

Really? So I guess you guys know the extent of his injury? A rock came up and smacked him in the EYE. His cornea is scratched and has vision, like described to me last night, of looking into a clear lake after it becomes wavy. But I'm sure all you pros here could ride like that...carry on.
And that comes from the person who would kno Wink

Look, you may be in the know, and I may be on the other side of the planet, but when I add 2+2, I get baggett/pc has just secured his employment for next year.....

Did you see the pics?

I think the math is more complicated then you can handle. Its more like one bad eye plus one good eye equals zero racing for awhile.

Yes I did. Looks like a split eyebrow that probably hurt like fark, but eased somewhat with the potential to secure his future.
Look, I hate to be the pessimist, but this was discussed before and after he was injured, although unfortunate, it plays into Baggett's hands next year, good on him the lucky bugger, kinda bizarro jerry when you think of Davalos.
I'll stick my neck out there like others, that split eyebrow looked commen as fark.

Oh and sorry, balls deep into some jd silver select. Luv the long weekends!

Oh it's real, nobody doubting that. . . . But that is nothing about that cut that should keep a profesional athlete out of competition. Heck, if he was a fighter he would have kept right on fighting in that condition. Football or basketball would call for a trip to the locker room and then right back in the game. Not to mention, that pic was 2 weeks ago! He has his stitches out by now!

It would be more believable if he would have said he was sitting out with a head injury from said wreck
