Remember that all the action is available a few days later on allisports.com (or at least it was last year).

Makes no sense.
Hope it's not true.

Maybe we should just give up here!

But we won't. Speed and FUEL TV no longer exist, so that's not an option. NBC Sports just signed on for five years, and so did Lucas Oi, which owns the rapidly-growing MAV-TV. Everything that Lucas Oil has done in the five years since they got involved with motocross has been very beneficial to the sport, so I'm not going to be against them. Or Dave Despain.

I support you if that is owned or supported by Lucas Oil. I have Verizon FIOS tv. I have been a subscriber since 2006. I used to get MAV tv with the upgraded package. I have a premium package with Verizon, and pay around $100 per month for the service. About 18 months ago they took MAV tv from my package.
There is no way I'm going to upgrade and pay more than I do now to try and get the Nationals.
It sucks, but my viewing outdoor nats. ended when the 2013 season ended I guess.
Best of Luck.

There is a thing on Fios that has Mavtv indemand. What are the odds that they will put the race on there at some point.

Is there any plans to offer a online service much like the MXGP's?

I understand that doing so would make it harder to sell TV rights to the series in the USA as its effectively direct competition to the station that picks it up, but, is there any way that in the future you may be able to offer this to those outside of the states where we have no TV options? Its fantastic with usually one race being streamed lived through Allisports, but it usually means I have to go hunting for a stream for the other race on some dodgy site to watch.

I'm sure there are many of us that are more than happy enough to pay for the privilege of watching a good HD stream instead of some low def crappy feed.

This is the one time I am bummed about directv as MAVTV is not in HD. Hopefully it will be soon.
I did watch a replay of the Geneva Supercross, The MX Files and Billy Jack all on MAVTV so some of the programming is good. Cool

I loved the nats more than sx, I gave up trying to follow the series, what a joke, different Channel for each moto? At least I can tune in for sx and watch 3 hours of live coverage. I haven't seen a full nat series in like 3 years because of all the musical chairs going, fuel nbc speed, outdoor, really. In this day and age you would think you could turn on the race and watch the whole thing without missing motos because they can only air half.

I posted this in another thread,I don't know if you saw it - I have Directv,I love it except for MavTV,Its in SD instead of HD,I emailed MavTV a couple months ago, they told me that MavTV supplies Directv with a HD feed but Directv chooses to show it in SD.
The guy at MavTV suggested that all Directv customers make sure to call Directv to request them to show MavTV in HD,If enough of us call maybe they will give in and show it in HD by the time the Nationals start.

No worries mate...Anything aired on MAVTV will be aired for FREE on Allisports online.

And the webcast is GOOD.

That said, dish guy will be here this week to install the dish. 65" TV will be here Friday.

Oh, seems to be realy hard to be an MX-Fan in the US,
switching channels and shit.
Heard that WWE would be a good alternative for guys with such problems.

I guess I'm lucky to have DirecTV. I have MAV and we watch that channel often. Really good stuff on there as well as lots of racing we've never even heard of. Heck, my wife and I watched these little jet boats racing in a course where the water is only a couple feet deep, it was fast!

Yep! We went to DirectTV just for MAV and the nats. We've had it about two months and love it. Even better, they just sent us a $100 Visa card for joining up. So far, two months of DirectTV has cost me about $100.

I agree can we just get MAVTV on AT&T, COMCAST, and all the other providers! WE all need our MX Fix! I love THE GREAT OUTDOORS! Pull some strings DC start with AT&T. Or I have to order a dish for Direct Tv and I would hate to have a dish on my house.

I've heard playoff hockey blamed for why the second motos aren't live this week but the time slots that the second motos would be in are a bunch of car racing fluff pieces

I've been paying something like 3 or 5 dollars extra for MavTV since they announced they were showing the nationals. Great channel.

From what I recall the first motos will be on MAVTV and streamed on Alli Sports and the second motos will still be on NBC Sports Network. Basically they swapped Fuel for MAVTV likely due to the shakeup of Fox Sports takeover of Fuel.
no biggie, cancelling my twc sports package that had the load of sport channels i never watched plus fuel/foxsportswhatever and signing up for mavtv since it will carry the only program i care to watch.
