This may have already been discussed so if it has forgive me, but I just listened to Matthes and JT on the FLY Moto 60 show discussing a possible change in the 2014 MX Nationals that could shake up the top 5 in the 450 class. 25 minutes motos? More stringent drug testing? Does anyone know what they could be talking about?

I heard that RV might skip the outdoors to get his knee fixed. I'm not fishing either, I honestly heard that.

I wasn't aware RV had a bad knee. He got that knee fixed he tore up a couple years ago a Seattle. On the other hand Stewart is the one walking around with no ACL from last year? Is it him they are talking about?

If RV is truly only racing one more year then wait to get that knee fixed then. It's obviously not affecting his racing now. But I guess it could be affecting his training which is much more important when doing the outdoors.

I had also heard his knee wasn't 100% but didn't think it would be an issue. On one hand the nationals could be epic if he doesn't race but I definitely like to have the best out there. More than anything I don't want him to miss The des Nations.

Thanks DC, yeah I guess I misunderstood Matthes and JT when they said a "rumor about the outdoors." Do you know anything about the rumors regarding RV possibly skipping the Nationals to get surgery?
