I want RV to win the championship, but I don't see him wrapping it up next week. He would have to win and JS would have to finish 4th.
I see JS winning next week with RV coming in 2nd or 3rd.
Then I see RV wrapping it up at NJ.

Possible but unlikely. It would take both Dungey and Stewart having another bad night at the same time. If Stewart is healthy the. He is a threat for the win and Dungey is always consistent. Say RV wins and JS takes second it still is not wrapped up.

I hope it is not wrapped as I will be at the Met for the New York SX (New Jersey really) and would like to see it wrapped up there by RV.

So basically,

If RV wins next week Stewart would need to get third to keep any hopes alive.

if Stewart gets third with an RV win, the only way it could then happen is Stewart would have to win the next two weekends with RV scoring no points. In that case, they would tie and Stewart would be awarded the title by race wins (it would be 7 vs. 5)

If RV wins next weekend and Dungey gets 2nd he would be 49 points down, he will be eliminated with a 3rd. if he got second, he would have to win the last two rounds with RV scoring zero. This would give him the championship by 1.

Anything can happen. But, looking at this scenario, next weekend is a big weekend for the top 3.

My prediction? RV wins his hometown race, but JS gets second and RV has to at least get 19th in jersey to wrap it up. Will be a crappy week waiting through Easter to sew it up.

Maybe you're being the dick by posting another thread about RV and what champions do. How many do we need that tow the line? There's this one and this . If that's not enough, then some of the RV fans like Outsider and Jeffro have to go into threads about other riders to stink it up, like in this one.

RV was sick in Toronto and there was a lot of talk about what an amazing ride it was given that he was sick. This week, James was sick and there is barely a peep about it and he finished better than RV did while sick (RV was 6th and Stewart was 5th). Let's see if RacerX does a story on that, mentions it in just about every other article, and then talks to James' trainer about it in another interview. I doubt you'll see that.

It's quite clear that RV is currently the best out there and will probably win a fourth title. But if all you want to do is suck on those balls just request a sticky where all the RV fans can gather in one thread and talk about how great he is. I think that may be Butch's point.

I stunk up some threads with what i wrote?

I came into every single one of those threads and gave my opinions on both the RV and Stewart lovers.....I couldn't of been more neutral in what I posted.

Face it.....there are a good 10 guys on this board that cause 99% of the bullshit. If those dudes were gone.....this could actually be a fun place to hang out again.

Why you put up a lecture type post with Reg and Butch I have no idea. Both are two of the " Good posters " on this board.

I like the thread about the young rider who was able to race the KTM junior race. Good thread. I also like the thread with the Bailey interview. Good thread. All these "RV is the best" posts gets old. I suppose I have the option to not click on them, but I'm hoping for something of substance about Villopoto instead of the broken record posts about why he's the champ and that's what champs do bit.
