I'm trying to get bike #6 and just have to complete 1000 starts on "any leaderboard"..

does that have to be in the multiplayer jam where you have to be a premium member to select leaderboards or does races in time attack count for that??

the reason I ask is that the time attack races dont list your attempts and unless you pay you cannot pick a board to race on for the jam tracks...

Definitely don't have to pay to qualify for the 1000 attempts. If I remember correctly it was counted when doing single player Time Attack. You can just restart every couple of seconds (don't restart too quickly or it won't count in my experience) while watching tv or reading a book. Takes about two hours I think.

Yes just go to career, time attack and pick someone to race. I kept my thumb on gas button and when gate dropped counted to 3 and hit restart, bike set off again ,counted to 3, restart & repeat. Thats what i did while watching tv and it worked. Just look at atempts completed and note the number then try the gas n restart for about 20 goes then check your count has gone up. If it has you are golden and continue.
Thats what I thought but I dont see where the # of attempts is listed in time attack?

I only see attempts listed on the jam races?

The number of attempts is shown in the bike shop under the bike where it lists the goals for each bike.

You don't need to pay to race the leaderboards. You need to pay to handpick the races with the people on the board. 1000 attemps can be simply done by just doing Jam races. I payed 0 to get my #7 bike and RB helmet. (i spend some cash on bike customization to support the developers)

Yeah, divisions change with each new Jam. The Red Bull is just a helmet. Not a bike. Bummer I know. I thought it was some special bike too.

These jam tracks SUX

They should have named this game Doug Domokos (RIP) MX because you have to be on the rear wheel the whole frickin time to make any time.

I agree. The game has been fun and I give full points for how much I've enjoyed it and the time it's sucked up. But it becomes nothing but a challenge to ride the back wheel as much as possible and has become a bit boring now. The idea that you can only accelerate hard by wheelying is kinda dumb. Remember what happened to Stewart a few years ago when he wheelied up the face of a triple at Daytona?

I'm almost to bike #7 without buying anything. It can be done!
I also have beat the career and got bike seven without spending a dime. Im still enjoying working towards my red bull helmet. I have been top 10 percent in the world on both tracks at the end of the week and did not get it. I believe i have to make it to division 1 in jam to get the helmet. I have already posted times that we sail me on through to division 4 next week! Fun game!!!

Agreed with the two above me. Also this game has become very buggy since the last Droid update. Almost unplayable at times and buttons that appear and disappear at random.

I dont know what you guys are running but I started playing Thursday and my best is a 101.4. My son is in the low 56s so I guess I have a long way to go. I did play some of the older tracks and they are better for a beginner like me.Laughing

I still play the game more than i thought i ever would! It's still fun and i look forward to the new jam tracks every week. Usually end up about 8k -10kth in the world every week on each track. Im a division 1 stud with a gold frame! Haha! Only money i have spent is to get premium jam, it's worth it to race my bro and almost beat him every week!

How on earth do you get the redbull graphics on the bike?

you have to do 8 consecutive backflips to get redbull graphics.

....or you just have to line up right so the other guy's helmet matches up with your bike and makes it look like you have redbull graphics.

Is it just me or have the tracks sucked the past few weeks? Couldn't get a good flow at all like you could in the first few. The first few tracks I was division 1 easily and now I'm 3 I think.

The last few have been really challenging. You have to nail every jump and bumb. I'm sure it took double the amount of tries for me to get result I was looking for. The flow is there though.

I really like the new tracks this week! That first track (where you only have to do 1 lap), do you guys take some special line or just the "normal" way? I'm about half a second too slow from my usually contenders and I'm wondering if they maybe take some different line?

P.S I hate you Wes, and Monasmith, and anyone else who beats me later on.Laughing Wink

Try and front wheel scrub a couple of the first four bigger jumps, if you can do that then you will gain some good time. The big step up is the key jump to do the front wheel scrub, it can make or break your lap. Sorry Ezza, I have been In a little jam session slump lately so Im trying to pick up the pace this roundCool

And yes the whoops are very gnarly, try and carry a wheelie in to them as well. That's a great way to gain time

I agree. I just started playing because my son is working for this company and building some of the tracks and he showed me how to "get the flow" and although Im still a goon the tracks are awesome when you can get them down. The older tracks were easy but even I could do them.
My son has showed me some of his up coming tracks and expect some pretty cool stuff.Smile

You'd be 3rd in NSW and 6th in Aus on Horseshoe and Gooseneck. They are my positions at the moment.

@ jleews: Can't wait!!! These tracks are pretty good.
