For building an awesome track tonight and then building one of the worst designed whoops in the history of the sport and everybody is eating shit. Great job. Real professional. Why not just build a 95 foot triple jump while your at it with no run up since your building a pretty much impossible section no matter how good of a rider you are. Comes down to physics at this point. You can build a challenging whoop section but I mean damn, you have to give the bikes and riders a chance. Smile Alright, let the flaming begin and start bitching me out but you know I'm right. Smile

seems to me 95% of the field made 50 passes through them without incident...

ummm, isn't it better when obstacles challenge the riders?

If they made all the tracks REALLY gnarly, James Stewart would probably have 60 wins by now.....maybe.

I feel the same way man. I've been pacing all night, kicked my dog, smoked two packs of Marlboros even though I don't smoke, and yelled at my wife about Dirt Wurx's incompetency and the fuckin' cigarette ashes on the floor.

The gnarly whoops were awesome to see... Big props to the track guys tonight...

I thought this was by far the best track this season. Imagine the good racing we are missing by having all these one lined tracks. Hell even Daytona stunk this year.

I loved the track tonight. It was great. I just honestly felt they could of re-worked the whoop section. Granted, they should be challenging but they didn't get to the point where they were safer until they started breaking down and riders could jump through them. I mean, I get so frustrated with the way this sport is run sometimes. If you see a section that is dangerous then go out and fix it. If that many riders are crashing then somethings wrong. Kind of reminds me of a section years back that Reed had to go tell the crew to fix it-it is too dangerous. I know some of you guys enjoy seeing people crash and get out of control. The whoop design was all fucked up.

Noone will ever agree one anything, especially in 2014. Great track, tricky multi- optioned option section, whoops, difficult triple, long start, and a split section option line. What more can you ask, to bad some riders couldn't finish off the one section.

Personally, I loved the track tonight! Dirt looked amazing, rhythm section was cool, and whoops were challenging. Haven't heard any riders complain, it'll be interesting to see what they have to say though.

That's an ignorant response and I knew it was coming. I said nothing about removing or flattening the whoop section did I? Nope. I said nothing about any other jumps did I? Nope. All I said was that they need to fix a dangerous part of the track. The tracks are already dangerous and challenging enough as it is, there is no reason to add a section that is not designed properly and the people in charge should monitor this and it pisses me off that they don't.

Go ask the dozen or more riders that ate shit in the whoop section. Go ask Tedesco. Go ask Adam C. Those are the ones I can think of of the top of my head but I think I saw on the broadcast about 10 people go down.

I want to thank Dirt Wurx. They finally built a track that allowed riders to be creative. To see JS do obstacles that the other best in the world riders wouldn't attempt was fun to watch. We haven't got to see something like that in a long time.

Not a JS fan but congrats on making the rest look like amateurs out there

Great track loved the racing, don't like to see any rider crash but correct me if I am like Billy here and wrong, didn't AC and Ivan eat shit in the whoops at other tracks as well.

We have had so many good races this year but I feel this was the most passing, or at least shown than any other track. To see Bubba doing different combos seemingly at will, had me thinking the only 2 riders who could have made it closer (not beat) were Reedy and RV.

Another thing that impresses me is the #15 bike as it looks and goes like a rocket ship, power to burn. Rider just needs to get over the arm pump and he can be amongst the top 5.

Does anyone know who designed the track for tonight, was it a Cannuck. Were the builders all the same ones used in the USA or did the team top up with locals. Great effort what ever they did.

He would, when faced with a track that has options, Bubba comes out to play.

I wasn't upset about the whoops too much but they could have kept them hard but maybe safer. It seemed like there was some odd positioning of two of them about 2/3's through the section. What I was upset about was the I saw a lot of room inside that dome that could have been used to get us towards 59-60 second lap times instead of 53's. I loved that Detroit setup though.

The field was depleted last night. The LCQ was weaker than the gate at a REM race.

You can have challenging sections, or dangerous sections. If there were 16 tracks like last night there would be empty gates by the time the series gets to Vegas. Great track.....shitty whoop section

that was the best track of the year! separated the men from the boys! the speedway tracks of late are gay imo, and who ever holeshots wins the race. they need to bring the technical aspect back to sx

You mean the track or obstacle caused riders to crash?

I thought everyone was just making MENTAL MISTAKES ,who knew

I would have to agree. The rhythm sections were amazing. The whole track was awesome and so was the dirt. Just not a fan of the whoops. That's all.

Not that my opinion matters, but I'll chime in. Interesting debate. I think changing a section seems counterintuitive. The riders have plenty of time to feel out the track, including the whoops, during practice and the qualifiers. If you can't go thru without looking like a squirrel, slow down. Isn't that the point of obstacles, to slow and separate the riders? SX isn't supposed to be on a pee wee track, that's why the racers are called pros. I thought the track looked awesome and what a race for Stewart.

some of your responses are pathetic.. those woops were too dangerous trying the kick the riders over the front of the bars. Too many riders got hurt. This not what we want for the sport and it does the fans no good if many off the top riders are sidelined for the rest of the season with biusted shoulders or other injusry. Woops are a good place to break your neck when you slam head first into a woop face and stop short. They should have brought in the dozer and addressed as soon as they noticed so many of the top riders eating it. I imagine some of them might have compalianed?
