James said it himself he is going for records. I think he can do it only 24 away. If he races at least 2 more sx seasons plus how many more he can get this year.
lol ^ that was my favorite part
24 away and has averaged I think 2.3 wins the last 3 seasons, and has said he's likely gonna retire at the end of next year... And the other guys in the class are all younger bar Reed.

At the end of 2007 I would have said it's possible, assuming it was still only him and Reed. But the comp is way higher now. No chance at all. He will end up 2nd at the end of next year...
What does RV have? 36-37? It's more likely for him to end up second!
It would be awesome if he did it tho!
Let's say he somehow managed to pull of 5-6 wins per Season...
Do you see him racing 5 more seasons?
Maybe...
RV is his biggest competition for sure.
Chad is racing at what age right now? why couldn't James????
When was Stewable's "It's Stewable" thing going on? Pre '12? or '13? Had to be 12, I guess. Whichever it was, I think as soon as things started to go wrong that year he knew it wasn't gonna happen.
But I guess when you look at how old Reed is and he's still winning...
And you look at how old Stewart is and it seems likewise he'll still have it for some years to come...
Then sure I guess he could do it by 2020.
But, no, James will end up at like 53 wins and that's it. Not even close to mc.

Say what you want but that rivalry is still alive and well and pushing both of them.
RC also said Chad wouldn't win another race and his team wouldn't work, as did Jeremy.
