It reminds me of bubba and reed at phoenix in 2010. If I remember right, reed got fined like 10k for this takeout. I guess this is the difference between two title contenders and two top 10 guys

sorry for the shitty video, only one I could find on youtube

I'd run Barcia over then back up and do it again..

He's usually 1/2 of a bad pass or altercation it seems

assault 1) v. the threat or attempt to strike another, whether successful or not, provided the target is aware of the danger. The assaulter must be reasonably capable of carrying through the attack. In some states if the assault is with a deadly weapon (such as sniping with a rifle), the intended victim does not need to know of the peril. Other state laws distinguish between different degrees (first or second) of assault depending on whether there is actual hitting, injury or just a threat. "Aggravated assault" is an attack connected with the commission of another crime, such as beating a clerk during a robbery. 2) n. the act of committing an assault, as in "there was an assault down on Third Avenue." Assault is both a criminal wrong, for which one may be charged and tried, and civil wrong for which the target may sue for damages due to the assault, including for mental distress.

Some of you guys are that concerned about a little heated shove?
You guys sound like the kind of people that get upset if your bike gets dirty so you keep it in the garage and post on vital instead....

You have to let them all settle some of it on the track. These guys are not robots. They are racers. And if they are on a track at this level then they all know the drill. Yes, if it gets outta hand then there needs to be some regulation. Determining where that line is, is always the hard part. But this type of drama is awesome for spectators. It is "a show" right? . The AMA should look at the incident for what it was and say, Barcia quit crying.

I think it woulda been awesome if Barcia stuffed Mookie and then Mookie whipped his rear tire into Barcias front tire over the next jump. LoL.

Seriously? A little shove?
I think I saw Bambams helmet move a little. Not sure if he was shaking it or if it was from the violent physical assualt given to him in the form of the Mookie shove.

That's some funny shit right there. How are you gonna do all that with your factory built 450f couch with dual HDMI remote controls?

what would the penalty be?????if this involved mike Alessi?
3/10/2014 5:43pm
Well I thought Malcolm was pretty overthetop, but I guess that's what happens when you think you just got taken out by someone you already can't stand. Sure was entertaining though.

So RC called over Mathess to tell him what he didnt like about Timmy? Thats a new approach

Wonder what Steve told Ricky while Ricky had his arm wrapped around his shoulder to create a gazilion years of bitterness on The Goats part?

but if you don't think kids watching basketball, baseball, football, nascar, supercross, etc. don't want to be just like the guys they're watching on tv then you're a clueless sperm beard.
It's interesting that we're part of a sport where riders are physically maimed with brutal frequency and people start worrying about their kids when one rider shoves another once a season.

We've got no problem when our boy knocks his teeth out, slams himself unconscious, our stabs a bone through the skin as long as he doesn't put his hands on the guy who just cleaned him out. At that point he becomes a poor role model.

Exactly!! Wheres the lynch mob & death threats for Mookies behavior? The fines & probation? He took Anderson out on purpose in the main event, took JB out in Utah, pushed mini coup, took out Bogle & now his little temper tantrum w/ JB. The guy has done shit like this before, just like JB has, but its ok? I guess its politics because hes a Stewart. I like Mookie on a 450, I'm a fan of his riding, but I think he was in the wrong this time. His little temper tantrums are making me loose respect for him. Its like he can't handle getting caught & passed.

Reed wasn't fined for the takeout, it was for shoving Stewart I believe. they took the fine back when Reed told them he shoved him to take the pressure off of his broken hand.

Its easy, Malcolm is a likable guy and Mike Alessi is well................ related to Tony and Jeff Alessi so he had no chance in life to begin with.Blush and for the record, I dont think Mike should have been fined for taking out Trickle

I love it! It's like the arm chair tough guys that dare you to touch them and then as soon as you do they call their lawyer. Or the people who take drugs knowing what the side effects are and then they sue when the side effects happen to them.

I remember this, I remember how BS I thought he was even fined for this. As Stewart cut down so early and Reed was taking the line he should of.

Anyways, quoting GuyB about Reed - "There was a penalty handed down by the AMA. It was appealed by the Monster Energy Kawasaki team. The appeal is what was upheld". I can't remember the fine amount, it was a one race suspension though.

I don't really think it was a big deal, but they need to remember that they are role models for a younger generation, and that stuff doesn't need to be happening in a professional race were thousands of people are watching. Sorry, but it doesn't send a good message, even though it was pretty funny.
