AC passed Davalos clean in a straight, Roczen passed Wilson clean in a stright, if Barcia was as great as barcia lovers are making him out to be he should be able to make passes happen in more places then just in bowl turns

Was a great text book block pass, right up until Barcia's front end washed out causing him to crash and took both them down. There was no "turning down" from Mookie that caused them to crash. Barcia clearly ran over the rut and lost the front end.

At that point the blame is on Barcia. Simple as that.

In the heat of the moment, Mookie popped the clutch into Barcia out of frustration and I honestly can't say I blame him. That was 100% Barcia's fault.

If you look at my photo you will realize that Malcolm left the door wide open. Justin took that opportunity , just as any other rider on the line would have, and made a clean pass. Malcolm then pushed the issue and turned down into Justin which causes Justin's front to pop out of the rut, push the front end and causing them to both go down. If this was any other rider Malcolm would , and should have, checked up and continued racing. Because of their past Malcolm forced the situation and ruined his own race.

IMO some pro's ,and keyboard heroes, feel as though the riders are entitled to any line they want and it's the reason the races get boring. One of the first things you are taught is to ALWAYS protect your line. Malcolm didn't and Justin took advantage just as he should have. Justin gets the short end of the stick because of his past but the is not one of those times. I'm a BIG Mookie fan but he acted like a spoiled brat on this one.
Sorry man. You've obviously missed the other angle that clearly shows, before any contact, Barcia's front end missing the rut and washing out.

Mookie clearly checked up and had no where to go but down, into a crashing Barcia.

I'm definitely not a Barcia fan, but its a shame that 2 guys riding Hondas end up on the ground like that on live TV at a race sponsored by Honda.

I'm old school...and am not impressed with the direction of today's youth. Whether they like it or not, pro athletes are role models for our kids...and neither of these clowns are setting a good example. And despite the chastising that I've received, I'm sure that there's more than a few members in this forum that agree.

I used to race MR 50's with Brian all over Florida, Chicken Farm, St. Pete, Hyatt, CoCoa etc...

That track was brutal, my first time there was surreal as I had never seen a track even close to being that rough.

It literally didn't make sense at first Laughing but I was only 7yrs old.

Regis we will have to agree to disagree. Malcolm did try to turn down and made contact before Justin pushed the front end.
In the 3rd and 4th photo you can clearly see that Malcolm's bars are turned into Justin. In the 6th photo you can see that they made contact , just behind Justin's foot peg, causing both bikes to change direction, Justin's tire to blow through the berm and both of them go down.

IMO it was Malcolm's fault. He should have either checked up or railed the far out side line. But like i said before, I believed he tried to force the issue because of the past events he has had with Justin.

Either way, I'm a fan of both of them. Say what you want about either of them, they bring a lot of excitement to any series they are in.

We've been watching these types of passes all season. The only difference is that BamBam lost the front end and didn't make it stick. Both went down.

You guys are blowing it out of proportion.
