I am big fan of Bubba - its going to be hard to bet against Villopoto. He is a damm beast outdoors.

Alessi has been getting in the way of all the championship contenders all season.

Yeah, I don't see Bubba winning the outdoors title. Barring a series ending injury, that championship is RV's. Stewart was looking really good in SX here for a little while. I could see him doing pretty good again next year. If I was betting money though, I'd say RV sweeps the championships in both SX and MX until he retires at the end of next year, then Eli and Kenny start battling for supremacy. I have a feeling that Dungey and Stewart have won all the championships they're ever gonna win, unless of course everybody gets injured, including James, then Dungey will probably be able to win another championship.

That was a mechanical I have never seen before. Villopoto needs his mechanical to make things close again. Much like Carmichael, Villopoto has been mechanical free for most of his career. Bad luck for Stewart though. I'm willing to bet he had something up his sleeve for Daytona. Something like that wall jump in 2011 or some other rhythm combination that would save him a couple seconds a lap. Would have been great to see him and Villopoto go at it.

Very unlucky, wrong place at the wrong time. That easily could have been RV. If it had been, we would be looking at a much tighter points race.

Yeah, Shaheen was talking about a rider having his "throwaway race"...but Stewart didn't need this one. He's 50+ points down now and even though I really had high hopes for a championship, I don't see him able to come back from that. Sucks for him.
