Carypt call dean burke he has the best prices garunteed. And by far the best customer service 502 3870906 tell him rob from nj told u to call he'll hook u up. I bought my ohlins rfx forks n shock from him for my 13.5 fe. Great guy. I told 2 buddys to call and he beat the prices they where previously qoeted

Stock components today are good,unless you are a top guy you will not need the upgrade.

It is the valving in the stock components that makes the bike handle.

My 08 honda had a single stage shim stack on the compression side of the shock piston,junk for us.

OEM shock bodies used to be junk,they would change shape as the shock got hot and let oil blow by the piston ring

Pistons had no expansion ring behind the seal ring which helps keep the seal constant thru heat cycle.

Now the components are good it is the valving that needs work.

Same with forks,2 cambers to keep oil seperate from air is all you need,

Just find a good local guy that can help you at a track get things right.

I have ridden a 2014 kx450 with stock suspension, and a 2014 kx 450 with ohlins shock and fork internals. the stock bike with the air forks was actually a lot better than ohlins. the ohlins stuff felt like it would be good in about 2005 but these new KYB and showas are better.

I think the ohlins benefits ktm riders more than the jap bikes. Wp suspension is garbage , i would put the ohlins ttx shock up against any of the japs shocks any day though.

Yeah,no telling how the internals were set in the ohlins.

The 08 honda I raced had a single stage shim stack on the compression side of the shock,unbelievable in this era,that is what euro bikes came with in the 80s,rides harsh as a soild axel wagon.

Right on point, totally agree :-) I love my Ohlins and it has definitely made my KTM probably the best 2 stroke that I've ever ridden.

I have used the since 05. I feel there worth every penny. Super plush and doesn't hurt having in the best turning bike I've owned. Talk to Stacy Berger at ohlins direct. Super nice and easy to work with. Just sent me springs for the fork at no charge and gave me Fredrick Noreen forks at a deep discount. My 2 cents.

I am a 57 year old slow/ fat guy. I weigh 260lbs. when I get my suspension set for my weight the suspension become very harsh. the husky is my bike the ktm is my sons. I also have a 13crf450 with factory connection valving. what everyone is saying about ohlins is exactly my experience. very plush like your riding on a cloud and amazing bottoming resistance..no comparison to my crf air forks!!
I have never put my ohlins on my Honda yet but I will soon

I have a pretty sic ohlins shock for that husky, with a xtrig adjuster, tex me 848 2102782, trade you for your stock shock and cash

Hi guys. I own 14' YZ250F. Full Ohlins suspension. Stock settings and SAG for my is fine but i want to know maybe you guys change the settings on suspension somehow that it makes ohlins work even better? With clickers i mean. Maybe lower forks few mm? Any suggestions? I'm 6.4ft. 163lb.
