Not sure the speed, 95 to 100,

Whenwe hit 75 headed north,it was 6 lanes at 95 ish,for 20 miles i guess.

Traffic eased i was in left with cars around and on the bumper of one.

A car gets on me,i go right a lane to let pass,he sticks like glue,i go back left, then a bridge comes up with a huge dip in front left.

I goright a la n e but the truck still snatched a little and i go back left on the straight.

The car on my ass gets run up on by another and backlit, isee the rack then blue lites.

As i go right the truck in front and car to right do same,we all figured same, its me

It was me.cop get my license and tells me he paced me at 95 but my radar detector nevr beeped.

No insurance questions,no nothing, comes back whenbackup. Arives

Gets me out,go to rear, finger in face, "I willtell you once, hands behind your back"

Blown away with it all,he snaps cuffs on so tight that i had to ask in the car if he would loosen,he did.

Tell me i need to tell my friends and 14 yr od to get a room, I t will be 6 am at best.

I cant believe that, why?speeding oh,was iso unprepared mentally and played ketchup the next 9 hrs.

When we get to jail after 1st sally port a guy is pissing his pants, wasted as they search him.

Next,i spread wil l cuffs on as latex ruffly grabs my massive nuts and runs up my crack.

I try to think,"you better kiss me afte that much fun" but the guy is really ugly so the thought trails off.

Next a pack of earplugs is pulled out of my pocket,"oh what do we have here?"

Earplugs, then a advil is dug out,i tell him same," he yells,he better hope it is", it was but that scared me,i dont scare,

What if it would be made to be something other, nothing i could do,

I mite as well been on the moon, which would been better because worse it where i head.

Post up my mug shot, david albert, cobb county ga, I am ok with it,it is what it is and i am the same

I saw it on my armband, looked ruff, more on 30 minute Mexican shits and remirez speaking in tongues,

It gets better, better for the tale, worse for me.but the hillbilly seems to draw like loadstone

My buddy and I traveled I 75 as well. On our 7 hour drive up I did not see one cop. That night on the way back we probably encountered about 20. They were literally parking on the right hand shoulder and shot radar with no running lights on their car or anything, pretty dangerous in my opinion.
We had a cop jump in his car and pace us for about ten minutes, tailgated us the entire time, keep in mind we had the cruise control set on the exact speed limit. We couldn't even see his headlights he was so close! Sorry to hear about your bad experience, that sucks.

They do that all the time. I want to stand on the brakes the next time one of GA's finest runs up my ass again and I'm in a rental.

I have never had a cop ride my ass like that. I usually drive 60 on the freeways here and am usually in the right lane around the trucks. Why do people want to do 85 in the fucking right lane? They won't get over to pass when the lane to the left is empty and they aren't exiting at any of the exits (exits are usually less than a mile apart on my route). When they do this, I just slow down to the minimum CA freeway speed limit of 45 and see what they do. They start honking, flashing lights, getting closer, and I just wave to them.

people are stupid. I am a very observant driver. I know a lot about the way other people drive

Out here we have the opposite problem. Cars going under the speed limit in the left most lane and won't get over even though the lanes to the right are empty, which leads to people passing on the right. I totally agree with the people are stupid comment.

Eric, so true! I moved to NC 1 1/2 yrs ago from FLA and was shocked at how S L O W people drive! I think the retired people in FL drive faster! And let's not even start on their inability to understand the concept of merging!

It's pretty common to get the riding your bumper harassment anytime after about midnight around there, it's even worse off the highways. I just went to the airport and drove about 80 the whole way (going with the flow not passing everyone) at 6pm so 95 should be a ticket but the arrest is usually officer's discretion. Must not have like the out of state folks Smile

When they crawl up your ass like that it's called ocular driving your hands go where your eyes go , they are trying to make you swerve so they have probable cause to pull you over , shit like that is why I can't stand the state revenue righters . Just a bunch off punks with guns in a crooked legal system . That cop should have a camera on him every minute off his shift , and you would see this bullshit stop.

It looks like conforming with the rest of traffic sure paid off for you, Did they arrest just you are everyone on the interstate?....Didn't think so. It probably had to do something with the wreckless driving and expired drivers license you mentioned...sounds like a law abiding citizen to me

I grew up driving in atlanta for 20+ years and never has it been 95 wall to wall, no matter what time of day. Ive seen it wall to wall 80-85, but thats pushing it. I drove 75-80mph all over Atlanta and was never pulled over once.

I drove up Friday afternoon and evening from Orlando and I think I was doing about 85-90 the whole way. I was by no means flying by people either. Shit, most of the semi trucks were running ~80. I turned on my GPS to show my buddy how fast I was going and he couldn't even believe it. Traffic was definitely hauling ass up 75 this past weekend.....but my license is current.

Cobb county has some of the worst cops in the Atlanta area for sure. They're like ants around here. Thank god they didn't get you for DUI. One of my buddy's got popped at a road block and spent like 14 hours in jail 8 of which were after we'd paid his bail.

You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.
If someone drives like an idiot around me and get aggressive, I'm on the phone with the police to report a possible drunk driver and getting your license plate. Nothing grinds my gears like someone putting other people's well being at risk in order to get somewhere a few minutes quicker, and from the outside looking in, if they seem drunk or irresponsible, I'm not risking letting it go so that they can go on to wipe out a whole family a few miles up the road or next time they drive drunk thinking they can get away with it again. Even if it turns out they're not drunk, I have no pitty for someone that gets a ticket for breaking the law. Most people that always talk about 'crooked' cops dive like 16 y/o kids anyways (to the 16 y/o on this site, yes I'm calling you bad drivers). It's funny how I never seem to have experience with crooked cops when I'm not breaking the law.

Speeding is an unpardonable offense; however, it is perfectly acceptable for you break the rules by slipping bottles of Jack Daniel into a Supercross race? I think you slightly misspelled your username.

Worked in Atlanta for years. I normally averaged 95+ mph from North Atlanta to Chattanooga on Friday afternoons, (running with traffic, typically in middle lane.)

x2,speed, deal with the results,no need to come on a mx forum bragging about being arrested, driving like 16 year old kid. the excuse everybody does it is weak. If they drove off a bridge would you follow them? its not magic car, they can only stop one driver at a time , dont want a ticket or arrested make sure your vehicle is legit and drive speed limit. no need to blame rhe police for you driving 95,mph.

Speeding isn't the issue. Hell I'm no saint. It's the swapping lanes aggressively, riding someone's tail, swerving and purposely cutting people off that gets me. I've probably called the cops a handful of times in my life. Last time it happened I was in Houston and the guy I was calling about slammed into the median while I was on the phone. I pulled over to see if he was alright and he was slurring and stumbling all over the place.
Ya I guess I did make it sound like I'm calling on everyone that goes passed me on the highway. Not the case. Just if it looks like they're about to kill someone.
The other point I was making is that those "BS" tickets everyone talks about are almost always not actually BS. Maybe you felt like you should have gotten away with speeding but most everyone that gets a speeding ticket wa in fact speeding. I've gotten tickets too and while I wasn't always happy about it, I have to admit I did break the law in question. If I get caught sneaking a mini liquor bottle into a Supercross race, I'm not going to get on here crying about it was unfair that I got kicked out or was told to throw them away or whatever would happen in that case.
