I really wish we could watch the free practices. Seeing the guys hit the rhythms for the first time is always the most interesting part of supercross.

Judging by these times in free practice we may see low 40s. Has there ever been a sub 40 second lap time in SX ?

Reed rode, pulled off early but circulated about 5 laps or so, charged the whoops a couple times. Never looked like he was trying to go fast, just learning a couple sections and jumped the triples

20 mins +1 lap , how can the lap times be so low on such a big floor? I was really hopeful after first 3 races on 1 min lap times...

Ditto.

Until then I would love to hear what the argument/reasoning is to have main events be based on laps and not time. Every SX fan at each venue should see the same about of racing shouldn't they? Be interesting to see what the ticket prices are in Dallas compared to Anaheim to see which fans got the best entertainment value for their dollar.

Not the best analogy but imagine having a movie be 25 percent shorter when it plays in your town but in LA your uncle sees the complete full length movie?
