If Austin is really looking to make a credible comeback, compete and lose punk ass label he has earned, my advice would be to start with a haircut and drop the high school lingo.

I dont have anything against Stroupe personally. Not asking him to "change who he is" either. "Who he is" was never his issue. I'm just pointing out that these comeback attempts usually dont pan out. It'd be best to lower the expectations quite a bit.

No matter how talented, it seems that once away from the races, its hard/impossible for these cases to regain that magic again. So I won't expect much.

It'd be nice to hear that he's simply healthy mentally and physically. Anything else is just a bonus.

He has said many times that he just wants to have fun, and live his life... why the vitards get all bent out of shape because he races local A class instead of coming out of retirement is beyond me. If the kid doesnt want to race pro, he doesn't have to.

I think the main issue is that all of the keyboard warriors on here can only DREAM of running pro... so to them, when you have that much talent, there is no other option than to be a professional racer. Jason has raced pro, could still race pro, but doesnt... just because that isnt the choice you would make, does not mean that it is "wrong" for him to do that.
