I have been spending A LOT of time making a Motocross Music playlist on Spotify and looking at old VHS tapes to find bands/songs that were featured. I'll eventually get around to typing out a text list if anyone is interested. Actually, I might not doing anything and might as well do that now.

If you DON'T have Spotify, I highly recommend it. If you do, here is a way to add people that are not your Facebook friends.

Here are a couple of ways to view a Spotify user’s public profile:
If you know their username, type spotify:user:USERNAME in the search box. (Note that the username must be written in lower-case)
You can simply click on a username wherever it appears. For instance, if you are viewing a playlist created by another Spotify user, their username appears at the top of the page.
Once you are viewing a user’s public profile you can add the user to your People list by clicking the “Add USERNAME” button at the top of the page.

My username is KnateMX

I hope someone can appreciate this. Either way, I'm sure someone will find a way to criticize. These are strictly just songs that were on MX Videos from the 1990's and early 2000's (with the exception of 3). I'm always updating and am not (and probably won't ever be) finished with it.

The WHO teenage Wasteland would make a good MX video backing music.

the late 90s early 2000s were the best time for moto. There weren't hundreds of propel at the mall wearing fox/monster. It was still semi popular. Bikes were affordable. Open practice was 10 unprepped and $15 prepped practice. Gas wasn't too crazy and everyone could afford to go. Therefore all your friends from
the track would go. It's not quite as beautiful as it once was.

Pretty much any NY/NJ/PA Hardcore band....I'd rather listen to a banter that knows they're soft like Dave Mattews than a soft band tryin to be hard.

Lucero. Very nice.

They do have a song that somewhat relates to MX "Bikeriders"

"Riders line up BSA's out on the scrambler's track,
Levis jeans and leather jackets, numbers on their backs,
Benny's bike is too big to race the 250 class,
They make him start way up the hill, up by the railroad tracks,
Tomorrow they'll all ride across the Illinois state line,
Motorcycle Blessing at the St. Christopher Shrine"

Absolutely love lucero. I have seen them play many times and always leave happy. They put on a good show and Ben really knows how to work the crowd

This one was on Wide World of Sports paired with slow mo action of the USGP way back in 72, 73. Might have been the original moto video, was cool as it gets and turned this young lad on big time to moto.

This question seems to come up alot. What I did was get every sound track from each Crusty, and a few of the FOX prduced videos (Terrafirma etc). And wad them all together on my ipod. They are awesome. When I am riding I feel like superman just have to remember that I have to be back at work on monday.
