Deegan - Steroids?

Before you answer/bag on me - I was watching the Behind The Dream show on Sunday and noticed when Deegan talks he kind of has a Steroid persona about him. Almost reminds of Bill Romanowski; a little nasaly, intense, bulging veins, seems like he's about to break something. I know Deegan has been an intense guy from day one, but lately whenever I see him on TV or the interweb it seems different. Not to mention he's pretty buff these days. Maybe I just never noticed the level of intensity before, but like I said it looks and sounds like he might be on some juice or something.

This is merely a question based on observations of a dude that I see for 30 seconds or so at a time on a screen. Don't take too much away from it.

Maybe he just works out a lot while he's counting his money from all the metal mulisha shirts and stickers he sells.

Definitely a rich ass dude. I know it's sort of one of "those" questions but I just couldn't help it after I noticed it again on Sunday.

he is skinnier than he used to be at the peak of his FMX career...

Im not into freestyle at all but I respect Deegan a ton..there was a time when he was one of the fastest 125 racers in the world, and he was a privateer!

lots of people take steroids. They are not nearly as bad as people make them out to be.

a family member was taking them for quite awhile

she had reconstructive surgery and was prescribed steroids by the doctor

she was looking roided out last time she was on TV..

Yeah, Deegan won a 125 main once but he was certainly never considered one of the fastest in the world.

Not sure about roids but a freestyle friend's dad mentioned he used to do coke at almost all the shows. Take it for what it's worth. IMO this father is pretty fair with his opinion. Dave

A bunch of top 10s in SX and a few podium finishes as well.

His physique is the lowest contributing factor to my curiosity tho. Like I said, he reminds me of Romanowski, just the voice and the look on his face and the way he speaks it just seems like juice to me. Whatevs.
