I like how some of the big indoor trial events overseas are held in conjunction with super enduro races. I wish they would drop the amateur stuff at the endurocross races here and fill the time with an indoor trials event featuring some of the world's best trials riders.

Check out www.mototrials.com some cool video's showing riding skills, etc. They also have the 2014 and 2015 schedule showing rounds in Texas (though I know it's a big state). Used to be one around upstate NY too but I don't see that on the schedule

I actually would rather watch that than SX.

Thanks for the post.

Now that is a good idea.

I rode a national in Cayuta, NY a few years ago. The place was awesome, with huge elevation changes, lots of running water, and waterfalls in the sections. The west coast guys don't seem to like the place, but I would love to go back. Completely different from anything we have here in TX!

I've been to a couple indoor enduro & trial in Barcelona and indeed it's a good idea. What Toni Bou and Adam Raga are capable of doing on a bike is mindblowing.

Trials is awesome, next to the GP track in Sweden is a minor mountain where they have a trials practice track, incredible to watch in between practices. No wonder Taddy Blazusiak is so good in enduro x.

Seriously, drop the amateur stuff? I hope they never drop it. I had a heck of a lot of fun doing it last year at the sac round and it was really cool to be part of an event like that. It was probably the hardest thing I ever did on a bike and I quickly learned that I suck at it, but I would definitely do it again. I think it's really cool that anyone can give it a shot and see if they can take on the same course as the pros. They already have a trials class that is awesome to watch anyways.

Toni Bou is a really sick guy! How long is he doing this? 10 years ago he was the best and it looks like he still is Blink

I've raced one, too. No doubt about it, the hardest, most physically demanding thing I've ever done. And yeah, I would like to try it again. But from a spectator's standpoint, watching the amateur stuff is not as impressive after seeing the pro class. They will never get rid of the amateur classes due to the additional entry fees generated, but its just a format I've dreamed of. Partially because trials is the most poorly promoted motorcycle sport on the planet, and I would love to see someone put it in a setting where it gets some publicity here in the states.

The trialcross class is pretty lame compared to seeing a top level trials rider conquer seemingly impossible obstacles.
