Was fixing to order our yearly Dallas SX tickets and noticed that the same section seating we had last year went up from right at 60 bucks a ticket to 80 bucks. That is a very large inflation rate. My question is where is this extra money going? After seeing this I am not sure I am even going to devote a whole weekend to watching a supercross for the amount that we can go ride on for a month or so. Has anyone else noticed this price increase or am I just crazy?

In Felds pocket. Anaheim 1 tickets were $124 for the pretty good seats but not anything special. That was ticketmasters price per ticket, ridiculous if you ask me?

Yep, these are just good-average seats. The good ones I don't even want to know. In total we budget 800 bucks for that Saturday and through Sunday. That is being very conservative with our money. 2 kids and 2 adults 500 miles round trip. That is going to put us at the 1000 dollar mark this year. Unbelievable!

Xeno, actually thinking about staying home and watching for free in my own living room. No 9 dollar beers and 30 dollar parking!

Ok so all you guys want is free parking, cheap beer, cheap ticket prices, and live coverage and then you will stop complaining?

If you think $80 is bad for a ticket, don't go on stub hub, you'll have a heart attack!! Lol. I just paid $165+fees per ticket on that scam of a site for the same race. Definitely won't see me dropping the ball on getting tickets again...

I know this doesn't do much good now, but if buy them early they are pretty reasonable. My father and I go every year, sit 50 yard line in the 10th row and the tickets are only about $72 going through supercrossonline's website (which I believe is through ticketmaster).

$9 beers? Try $12.50 at A1 for 24 oz. Cans, Large draft was $14. Phoenix $13 for same can.

One thing I can say about tickets, I bought one at the box office in Phoenix for $25. Checked out where the seat was and it wasn't that bad. Paid $65 a piece for 2 A1 tickets in the 100 section. Depends how close you want to be.

Lurch got a raise. Paying someone to scream at the fans in attendance for 3 hours isn't cheap... Cool

No. Every rider that signs up should get $52,000 per event, if they make the main or not.

For future reference I'm not griping about the prices, just the large inflation rate and no explanation on where it is going. If 50% was going to up the payout for 10-22 place guys then I would be there in a heartbeat. Just having a personal debate on it being worth 250 bucks to get my family tickets if it is just making the rich richer.

I usually tend to sit in the middle to the top of the stadiums. It's cheaper and I like to see the whole track without anything in my way. Only $40 at A1. That's not too bad at all. I sat next to Tony Alessi at A1 up top in the nose bleeds, shoulda seen his face after Mike's start in the main.

noticed the jump in prices too... I'm right there with you OP, maybe they raised the price to cover those extra gate dropsSilly

And we have broke athletes getting paid nothing putting on a show for us.

$14 for a beer. Who the EFF is paying that?

I was in Vegas a couple weeks ago and we went to Thomas and Mack box office to buy tickets for the Vegas round at Sam Boyd and they have all gone up, too. They want 64 dollars AT THE BOX OFFICE for the endzone tickets on the 300 level. Those were 45 dollar tickets last year! We didn't even buy tickets and probably won't go.

I got tickets for A2 at Cucamonga Yamaha for 35 bucks in 500s levels. A1 and A3 are 40 dollars for the 500s sections.

I skipped A1 and may not go to A3 because of money issues. But will be there this weekend! woot

Feld doesn't make money off of parking/food/beer... That goes to the stadium.

Every time I've been over by the Cowboy's stadium, it's been $40 for parking. If you want to park at the restaurants and walk a mile and a half you can find some parking spots that are $20.

I wouldn't complain if the beer wasn't marked up at a 1,400% margin at least. As for who's getting the money, it's Jerry Jones this weekend. I don't care to give $.01 to that asshole.

Atlanta stayed the same and some sections have went down in price. Feld did spend over $300,000 in much needed extras and for opening ceremonies.

For those that say its Fox Sports 1 fault I thought Fox paid Feld for the rights on this 5 year deal?

Sat in the noesbleeds at A1 and it was awesome! The ticket price for my 4-year old was the same as mine- $54 after fees. Other than the lack of a kid's discount I thought is was worth it.

I might launch a Kickstarter campaign to attend the other rounds.

We ordered our tickets for dallas a week earlier than we did last year and we had to go to the second level to get our group of 7 seated together for the first time since 01'! Good news is seats only went up 10 bucks for us this year instead of 20, lol. Im just glad people are coming to the races! Maybe the sport is growing again!!

We're staying home this year. The prices have risen to the point that watching the show on TV sounds like a better idea.

No, typical promoters deal, gate, parking and concessions are split up. I think at Anaheim. the city owns the parking lot. Feld might get 100% ticket sales and the venue gets concessions. That's why the $12 beers and $5 hot dogs.

Detroit is cheap, $45 for the good seats. I think our round is cheaper than Indy.

I thought that just a couple of years ago you could buy a house in Detroit for about $45....? Dry

The circus and concerts are declining revenue streams for Feld, so I guess they are trying to make up for lost ground and screw the SX fans?

We purchased tickets last week. $75 each for two adults and $40 each for two children. I only live 15 minutes from Jerry World, so travel is not an issue. Figure $230 for tickets, $30-40 for parking, $200 for food and shirts etc. About $460 for a four hour show. I damn sure would not pay these prices for anything but supercross and my sons chance to see his heroes.

The top ticket prices at Dallas are $60. After Ticketmaster adds in their fees it becomes $72.

The bigger problem is that none of those seats are available unless you go on a site like StubHub.were scalpers have listed 2,424 tickets for sale for that race, some well over 3 times face value.
