Not that I know anything about anything...but would it surprise anyone to see Ken Roczen jump KTM for a Japanese team next year, and to see KTM pick up Jason Anderson as his replacement, maybe to join Musquin in the 250's until Moose jumps to the 450's?

Is this KR's final year of KTM contract?

He might look good on Green.

I don't understand why suddenly everbody thinks that Roczen will jump ship. Just because he's riding at Villopoto's ranch, he will change to Kawasaki? There is one thing you ALL forget. Roczen is a HUGE fan of Red Bull (has a contract with them throughout his whole career) and Kawasaki ... they have Monster

nobody knows how the teams will think regarding pecking order or $contract$ #'s they are going to supply.
as far as joe blow knows, jw12 will stay green w/ performance contract.

Doesn't Monster's contract with Kawasaki end this year?

I'd be surprised if he didn't jump up to 450's in 2015.

I thought we were supposed to wait until October/November to start talking about this shit?

I highly doubt Weimer gets resigned by Kawi. If RV really is gonna retire after 2015 then it wouldn't be surprising for Kenny to join Kawi next year.

I would have thought Kawasaki's plan would be to have Ciancarulo as the best bet to replace RV2 at this point...

If RV retires at the end of 2015, that's kind of early to bring AC92 up on the 450. And who knows, AC92 might end up sucking and be out of the sport in a year or two. I highly doubt that, and I'm pretty confident he'll succeed, but it's pretty early to be naming Cianciarulo as RV's heir apparent.

AC can't see over the seat of a 450 yet. Grinning

The lineup pictures from PC show Adam to be one of the taller riders on the squad now. I think he hit his growth spurt, certainly he'll fill out as time goes on.

Why would he ? Going from KTM to a Japanese factory team these days is a lateral move at best .

German Rider
Austrian Sponsor & a Brand that has a knack for hanging on to German "Stars"
Austrian OEM Brand, too

Me thinks they'll BOTH be on KTM's Next-Year

That's good news. AC was pretty small and I was afraid of the bike riding him like Zach Bell.

As for KRoc, it's going to be difficult for KTM to keep him happy with Dungey in the stall. I'd imagine having two premier riders on a team might cause some personality conflict eventually. And I know KTM has deep pockets but not sure they have enough to keep Kroc and Dungey happy.

Lastly, think of all of the teams that need a premier rider. JGR needs a premier rider now that the bike stigma issues seem to be disappearing. RCH is ready for a premier rider, Kawi needs someone to take RV's spot when he retires. If Kenny ends the season healthy and in the top five, holy crap he could leverage one hell of an offer and get on whatever bike he wants!

Oddly enough, Roczen and AC92 are out mountain biking together right now. I know it seems unfathomable for Roczen to leave KTM and Red Bull, but he seems to be geling well with the Kawasaki boys and with Aldon.

I think Kroc will jump ship unless they keep giving him what he wants. KTM is getting so big.

Ktm and deep pockets shouldn't be in the same sentence. Their total net profit for 2012 which is the last year listed, is under 26 mill. Compare that with Honda 365 billion, kawie 33 billion, yammie 7.5 billion and Suzuki 91 billion. The jap companies spend more on hookers and lunch than ktm makes
