Reading all the hate is killing me. I'll start a new thread just for the positives that came from A1.
Jason Anderson's pass on Seely was absolutely sweet. I've watched it about 15 times already. Seely left the door open just a little and Anderson drove it in there. Also, Seely's response was perfect "I would have probably done the same thing."
Most of the big name riders looked great. Some of them didn't have their finest hour, but it made for some entertaining racing.
Jenny Taft did a great job! Most of her questions to the riders were exactly what I wanted to hear. But remembering to turn on her mic needs a little work. It was pretty funny though.
Trolling to find out what others things I may have missed. Because I'm sure I'll watch it 20 more times before this saturday.

Oh yeah, and MA800's holeshot in heat 1. BRAAAAP!
Anderson's pass was pretty badass as was the Wilson/Osborne battle. Alessi's start was entertaining in both the heat and the main. Nice to see him get a win. Thought Fox did a great job on the broadcast as well. Pumped for Phoenix!

Wilson/Osborne battle was rad!
What about Tate and Chad riding out together? That'll pull at the heart strings!
and lived up to the hype.
I love seeing everyone on there new rides .new gear etc
its what makes this the most exciting Race of the year .
the high lights in my opinion
were seeing the guys do good
that a lot of people say won't .
like Alessi Just a heat but he still rode good and I loved seeing it
Reed ..Living legend
James .. how many times have people said he's done lol
almost as many as have said it about Reed
.. just an awesome night of Supercross
I can hardly wait for Phoenix!!
IMO
The next race that is surrounded with excitement kinda like A1..is Daytona
East coast kids are going to be great also. Someone should interview them on what they thought about A1.
Good "problem" to have.
Everything about the broadcast was great (and I have been watching for "decades")!
Seriously though, it is pretty sad how negative people are around here. We get to see EVERY race live, and all people do is complain that RC is a terrible announcer and that Mike is a little girl. Honestly, it starts to wear on people a little bit. I though the show was great, and Fox really did a great job of making it seem professional. Great job guys, I think most of us enjoyed it a lot.
How about the new finish line led screen? didnt show well on TV, but must of been cool for those who were there. See in the background here:
Anyone at the race notice it? i havent heard it mentioned once.
Anaheim 1 seems to always bring a surprise, and this was no different...and i was stoked on the outcome!
Pit Row
It's another race in 5 days !
800 made me remember that there's some real shitty people out there (not him) and why more should support him
There's a lot of guys who are clearly up for it
A German leads the big class
Stewart is damn ready, don't give me this shit he crashed, it's old, boring and lacks originality
Rv will be pissed and come back angrier than the rest of the short tempered ginger fraternity (which is hard to believe)
Wilson had his bedding In/cobweb shaking race and can now be safe in the knowledge he can actually show up next week
Dungey looked solid, and boring as usual. With that being said, he is a solid title contender as usual.
BamBam's bad start, but blasted through the pack(like Stewart) for a top finish.
Poto looked fast, just had some issues. I'm not voting against him for title #4.
Reed was fast, looked like he was holding back some, but was still fast! I like having him happy and back in the mix.
KRoc looked great for his REAL first 450 race, and congratulations!
Glad Tomac is not hurt.
JUST HAPPY SX IS BACK!!!!!!!
1 - I was kind of surprised that nothing more was said about the Short & Partridge crash in the semi. It kind of looked like one of the two kicked/stepped on the others bike that was down as he got back on his bike and taking off. Maybe I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill.
2 - The Weimer and Tomac accident - my first thought was 'oh shit! not another Stewart and Partridge accident please!'. Was that the same scenario.
3 - I expected RV to get back up and make the podium. Was something wrong with his bike?
Anyways, great race...............to bad I didn't get to watch it though because we lost electricity in the snow storm that was passing through. Let me tell you, it was kind of hard sitting in the dark with two kids and the wife thinking about if our house was getting too cold for pipes to burst and who was winning the races!
I am not doing that again.
Or being sarcastic?
