Yes and no. They will fit. It just depends on how custom you want to be. You'll need new custom made spacers and bearings to fit your swingarm and axles.

As it sits now, no it will not fit. If it's a super good deal, buy them and lace your old hubs to it.

I did this conversion with a 2009 yz. Pretty easy, the 450 bearings have a bigger inside diameter, just sleeve your axle up to that size. Any machine shop could do this.

You're gonna need the wheel spacers from the 450 depending on how long you make your sleeve.

Front wheel is the same.

Sleeve the axle? how about just put the bearings for a 2-stroke with the smaller i.d. in there?

The major diameter of the outer race of the 450 bearings are different than the Yz.


The 450 bearings are crap, longevity wise, compared to the two stroke ones. "weight savings".

Go to your local bearing shop and get proper bearings for the swap. It will be cheaper than paying a machine shop to make you a sleeve.

I've seen people do a 250f rear end conversion on their yz 2 stroke swapping the swingarm, linkage, and caliper holder...then obviously use the 250f hub. Looks like other people have found a more cost effective way of making it work?
