Here are some other recent wheelies he has been posting.

Lets see him do that on a CBX with someone on the back....across Nevada.Laughing

Or heck, back it down a notch by himself on a KZ1300.

Brian Austin from Rochester,NY is a badass. He has slow wheelied many of the tracks in western New York. Anyone who has witnessed it can attest to that!

Yup. doing a wheelie on a paved road is one thing, doing it around Unadilla is a whole other animal. RIP Doug.

Dustin is a bad, bad dude on a bike.

At Tomahawk there are three tabletops in a row- nothing big. Dustin decides it would be faster to combine two of them into one massive jump. Just sick.

I had the pleasure of watching him back in the early 80's at an arenacross race in the Ector County Coliseum in Odessa, TX. Man that dude was so damn gnarly to watch I was more impressed with him than with the racing itself.

Need a sprocket for BIG WHEELIES? The blue one is a 50T and gold one is a 70T. Big sprockets = Big Wheelies....

My dad back in the day was do impressed seeing Doug do his thing he wanted to make a replica. So he got a brand new 1978 KX 250 and put everything on it Doug did. Within a couple days my dad had it down. He has wheelied tracks and parades all over the east coast. One time he was wheeling a track some where and Roy Turner was there. He was good friends with Doug. He approached my dad and said " I can't believe I'm saying this but you are even smoother than Doug."

My Dad has always been a perfectionist and was honored by those words.

As far as the sprocket is concerned its a speedway sprocket and it's like a 110 tooth sprocket.

Still to this day it gets me excited to watch him slow wheelie an entire track!

It's not a true wheelie, until he is riding one through down town Chicago on a stolen bike doing arm circles.

Taking bets on if this bike(wheelie king) has a title, is registered and the VIN has not been compromised.

I remember watching Doug wheelie around the LA Colesium sx track in the mid 80's. Good stuff
