Because it would be absolutely outstanding to have him and RV go at it like that each week! A La RC and JS not to mention the up and comers!

Yeah, hope so too. He'll need that speed for a whole moto and a little luck to beat RV

X2. I am not a JS fan (at all), but when he is on, he elevates the pace of the races and makes it exciting! I was glad to see him win the MEC and have some confidence to carry into next year. Keep it on two wheels Stew-Bro! Even your anti-fans appreciate it when you race well.

Stewy rode very smooth, fast and consistent. The main thing was he didn't look sketchy or crash even once. That's what I want him to continue.

Exactly. James got into RV's head like nobody has ever been since he began his dominance. It was obvious. The reason he had his brain fart about the Joker lane & suddenly lost it afterwards was the result of letting James get him twisted.

IMO, Stewart left Vegas with a huge load of confidence & the assurance that he could smoke Poto straight up. And...that smile of his coming back means he's happy. Could be he can muster what it takes again.

What I meant was that RV will go home and do his homework twice as hard. It`s just in his nature.

I'll build on the "didn't look skectcy" comment. It seemed to me that James rode at a certain level, within himself. Then, he turned it up just a bit to get back past RV and that got into RV's head. I'm not sure we even saw everything JS had on Saturday night. If he had more left in the tank (where he gets a little more sketchy) then things could be very interesting in 2014.

see it kinda seemed the opposite to me....RV looked much smoother through those crazy whoops and I thought James had a couple sketchy moments there. Also RV made a mistake and seemed to just pull right back up on JS at will. I think that it was a hard track to pass on and or make it stick. JS was using every trick he had...To me I think RV woulda motored away with a holy and some clean laps...on a side note.Barcia was impressive that race with a fastest lap despite not hitting that rhythm. Great race, Im sure a great confidence builder for JS no doubt...but up in Ryans head stuff is funny...the kids traded paint with many a warrior and came out on top.

Confidence is a powerful thing in SX/MX! It also depends on how technical they make the tracks in 2014 too! Even the MEC track with the triple tabletop that James started doing, you could tell RV wasn't very comfortable doing and eventually it bit him in the ass!

I'm a big JS7 fan but to keep the record straight he did push his front wheel and fall over in the 180 after the first rhythm section in moto 1. The RV2 fan next to me went nuts and I had flashbacks to many seasons past, they must have put a YZ450 chassis under those yellow plastics! Smile

He rode awesome after that.

Not a Stewart fan, but his ride was impressive. The passes that he put on RV and Roczen in the same corner were amazing. Good show. Would be nice to have all of the top guys in top form for SX.

I can't help thinking we're seeing JS7 Beta III & the '14 Production Version will be even More Sorted Out w/ even Better Equipment & a Brighter Outlook.

I'm jus' hoping...

A lot of people are saying it was ONLY a 10 lap race, similar to a heat race, where James shines. But lets look at the 1:08-1:10 lap times vs the 45-50sec lap times in SX. The MEC was actually closer to 15 SX laps instead of 10, and he won back to back motos, and went from dead last to 8th in Moto 1. '14 is going to be very interesting indeed.
