I know you never have enough information to judge anybody, and that everybody deserves another chance. But, seems like Jason Lawrence will always be one of those "coulda-shoulda-woulda" guys that will show up on a "where are they now?" feature on a moto site from time to time. I think, unfortunately, he's past him prime...and will never ever be what he might've been because of all the bad blood he generated. This is a here and now business, and not very kind to those who burn bridges and then try and come back. I wish the guy the best, but I seriously don't see him ever making any kind of impact on the pro scene again.
then again some dudes just like to ride their dirt-bikes. Jason seems like one of those guys.

when all is said and done, he won a regional sx championship while beating one of today's greatest champions, gained a ton of fans and a huge following, and made money doing it. and if he is comfortable with where he is in life, then good for him. who is anyone to say if he is a failure or not, through the eye of the beholder, bro

That looked like a fun race and a wild format. Speaking if wild.. I have never seen Rockstar girls... Monster and Red Bull have their work cut out for themWhistling Evil

I'd love to see Jlaw get serious and make a run at SX and the outdoors. The kid definitely has personality, however, that being said, I think Jason would be a good fit at Two Two for the simple reason that I could really care less about all the speculation surrounding either one of them. I mean seriously shit or get off the pot already

Oh, I totally agree Peel. If he's happy with riding the occasional local race, or those he's invited to for the gate draw he's bound to have...then it's his life and not mine. I guess I get a little jealous of guys like JLaw who have massive talent on a dirt bike, and seemingly threw away what I always would have given my left nut...hell, both of my nuts for. But I was young, and acted like a damn fool more often than not too...so...

It's embarrassing to me as a fan that he gets so much attention for nearly nothing.

We have such a great, respectable and stacked field this year (Dungey, Canard, Davey, Reed, Villipoto, James, Barcia, Brayton, etc), but we all want to focus on the misguided misfit that couldn't keep it together.
Bingo!

He's a motocrosser, it's not like he will be babysitting my birddog or something, last I checked fans could cheer on whoever they wanted. Pretty funny you took the time to count the jlaw threads.......I'm calling man crush.

JLaw is riding again

Perfect marriage

Hanny will fit right in as well.

Don't have to win.....just crack the top 10 and get some face time for the sponsors.

This is for sure what im talking about but ya, i wish it was a simple thing to make happen. We are just starting back up so, we'll see where things go but i would love to have J-Law and Hansen on a Moto XXX team and we run it out of one or two box vans and take things back to our roots when we first started out with Deegan and Swink. Thats my dream..we all know what it takes to make it happen..$$$. Cool that you've got one of those posters still..they are classic for sure! The good ol days

Also, J-Law has been on board wearing some Moto XXX shirts and logo's which is awesome and im glad he's down with Moto XXX. Hopefully we'll be doing more things with him as he is the perfect fit for our brand but ya, glad to have his support for sure!

Do you remember his LL speech about rv2? I think he had a chance back then but was having too much fun living it up. He would be right there with them if he had kept his head on straight

He should just become a "freerider" already, and race the odd race around the world.

I'm a fan of his riding but I'm not holding my breath for him making a proper comeback I'm not sure if he has the backing or even has the desire to work at it and race full time again . From the look of his instagram it looks as though he is just having fun riding dirtbikes with his friends . It's a shame in some ways as I think with real hard work he could be great again but in others the kids enjoying his life who are we to give him shit for that . I hope he doesn't live to regret the chances that slipped away seems there's not many second chances in moto .
