I still have a 92 RM 125 with the original seat sitting in my Grandpa's garage. That is one ugly bike.

Ugh - I really hated those RMs. I had a sick 92 CR 125, but put cleaner graphics on her.

I had graphics very similar to those kx graphics on my 90 kx 80.

Call me crazy, I love early themed 90's stuff. Whether it be sneakers or dirtbikes or whatever, I like all the neon color splashes. Blast from the past!

My first helmet was a hot pink/black Shoei. It was love at first sight. I wish I still had it.

I'm glad the styles went back to more conservative, can't imagine where it would have gone next.

"Friends don't let friends wear neon"
That was our motto then.

Those bikes look ridiculous in static pictures, but in person at the races I thought the day-glo on the bikes and gear the late 80's, early 90's, made the sport visually vibrant. A decade later the style was basic colors with a lot of black, and while the gear and bikes looked good in studio pictures, I thought the sport looked drab in person at the races. Don't fear the flo!

The first year I started racing, at 14yrs old, so nothing but the best memories from me. the 92 YZ125 was the biggest slug you ever rode. In their stock forms the CR felt like a HRC works bike compared to the YZ. Yamaha must have tuned the fuck out of Emig's bike for him to win the National title and just show's what a bad mother he was outdoors
