I'm surprised Reed would go the PC route again. Remember how good he thought his PC Honda was until he switched to a full factory bike mid season? He couldn't stop talking about what a huge step up it was to the factory bike.

Regarding bike announcement, more than likely it is tied to sponsors and press releases and doing stuff like that the right way. Just cause the bike is sorted, doesn't mean titles are etc. They wouldn't like it being released they are/aren't doing stuff before they are or aren't!

That immediately led me to think of the steel KTM chassis which has more flex than the Suzuki's...but what he said just screams to me that PC/Kawasaki will be in under his tent at A1.
Reed said he is 99.9% sure he'll be PC next year.

I'd say messing with people is an intentional thing to get a stir... His point is he is sharing a bit of info because he can, not to stir the message boards...

Busting balls or just being an Aussie carnt is just for the sake of it, not venomous, aimed or deliberately trying to stir someone specific...

But hey, semantics.

I think it's better he releases stuff and has a social voice than not. Fuck, Vital would be pretty quiet without it!

I'm just happy Speedy Reedy is coming back with a fuck you attitude for 2014. Imagine if he is back up front running with the big dogs and getting back into Stewies kitchen! Fuckin A Chad! The series still needs him-he ain't done yet. He might be an old dog but he still has some schmooey left me thinks. He hasn't forgotten how to ride a dirt bike just yet.

My reading of the bike problems are all related to the chassis/frame

which has to be production (?) so he is not able to mold the bike to his style.

and now has to find the bike with the most suitable chassis.

Rv being at kawa so long has benefited from a chassis that he had a say in its design.

yeah he does state he did not 'love' the Honda...unlike Shorty who rode basically a stock one to 3rd place in a SX race...maybe it suited Shorty better than Reed?

Perhaps if he practised more (which he could not due ot injuries and sickness that he clearly states) then perhaps he would of come up with better settings/handling for the Honda....

All a moot point anyway, he wont ever be on a Honda again so thats ok ... for those who think he might be on a PC Honda are dreaming, once he is done with a brand he is completely done

er...maybe not completely done as it looks like he might be back on a Kawasaki lol Just not a factory one. Funny, I guess he is saying the PC Kawasaki is better than a factory Honda...interesting....

I believe this has more to do with Chad's TwoTwo Motorsports as a viable Team in the future, sans Chad as the rider. I mean let's face it, Chad in 2014 will face the toughest competition of his career, or... at the end of his career per se! He claims he may being naive, but actually he's probably just being a smart business man now. After all, you don't get anywhere selling yourself short, especially to potential sponsors. No one can blame him for that.

Chad's a cool dude now no doubt, but does anyone seriously think he can go up against:

The two Ryans... both who for the past 4 years have won EVERYTHING! Being more dominant than he has ever been.

And even if that's not enough, we have Barcia, IceTREY and still James, who had way more "championship contention possibility" in 2013!

Along with ELI fuggin' TOMAC Daddy and KROC Master Zen!

That's not even mentioning a HUNGRY Josh Grant, MOOKIE or even Davi Millsaps... maybe these guys won't win either but they have consequences in a race... they are not afraid to HOLESHOT as if they can WIN! That matters.

This isn't hate, so don't go there... this is reality! Somewhere I "SEE" KDUB sitting on the couch, tapping a "spot" with his hand saying "Chad, buddy... times up man, keeping a place for you warm right next to me here dude." Smile Hehe

All the best to him regardless, he's put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this sport. He deserves it.
