Hangtown: 13th / 8th (8/13 pts)

Thunder Val: 13th / 14th (8/7 pts)

Washougal: 8th / 14th (13/7 pts)

SLC-MMS: 5th / 5th (16/16 pts)

You might wanna check my math; but, I'm coming up with an average finish of 10th...

Average Finish of 10th Place.

On a bike that ANYONE could build in their garage. I haven't seen one single "unobtanium" part on his bike. He's even running stock Suzuki foot-pegs. I noticed that, again, on Friday at SLC. Oh, and, about Saturday...

"Some Men You Just Can't Reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it."

The Point? Weston has had to do it on his own (Well, Weston and Lou)...and THEY'VE DONE IT! Two 5th place Motos at a National!?!? Damn!

This is my favorite "Performance" of the Year. A REAL PRIVATEER. It is SO DAMN HARD when you look up-n-down the starting-gate & you see a guy next to you who's suspension cost more than your whole damn bike. Who has more money spent on this weeks practice bike than on ALL 3 of your bikes...for the whole damn year; yet, he just puts his head down and waits for the gate to drop. Then...nothing matters. In-fact, he's enjoying the fact that he's proving that he can do it...he's proving it to himself.

And, you know what? Nothing-else matters.

N-F-G, indeed.

Simply...Stoked.

Oh, while we're here: Saturday was also the day that Nyk seemed to say, "I'm back!" He hasn't said much; but, that back injury? Uh, it was pretty damn bad.

Congrat's to the New O.G. of the Michigan Mafia, too!

I saw some stuff on Twitter about "burned bridges". Not sure what/who he burned bridges with though. Maybe someone else can elaborate.

People are going to come on here and say it's because he's "burned bridges" or because of his attitude etc....We've been helping him out for a few years now and he's been nothing but a pleasure to work with. I obviously can't speak for everyone he has dealt with, but he's been a great guy so far from my experiences with him. Yeah, he can get really passionate about things from time to time......but that's better than him not giving a shit and just being out there for a paycheck.

I dig it. A baseball bat to the urinal to releieve tension, George Brett coming unglued when he gets tossed due to pine tar.

That passion is genuine with Weston and I like it. I love a bitter pissed off athlete, you know they are giving it their all.

I posted this in the other thread but will through it out here again. Weston has heart, a burning desire with FIRE and these are character qualities that can't be taught. There have been racers in the past do far worse things than get pissed off in public that had, sustained and obtained rides after they did something stupid or committed crimes. He's done nothing to not deserve a good ride and hasn't had any bridges to burn in his career. People have posted this but no one has yet to step up with the information because there isn't any. Only thing he's guilty of is NOT being an ass kissing zipper ripper and this falls under it's not who you know but who you BLOW category.

He's only gonna get better with quality support and more time to ride/train.

The ROI will be great considering he could be obtained for a good price.

My 18 yr old and I were watching the race on the DVR yesterday and when they were talking about Weston running top 5 and working on his bike that was exactly what we said to each other.

Pitting out of a van, running top 5, wrenching on stuff all while bump starting the bike to get it to run and just going out and hammering it.....NFG!

I would hate to see what he would do if he didn't get a ride soon!

Hats off to you guys for helping him out. You see the value in supporting a rider like Weston. I hope some others join in this off season and give him a shot to strut his stuff. It's a crime that someone of his caliber doesn't have a ride.

He sort of reminds of another guy that rode CZs back in the day.............Tony D. :-)
Surely somebody will give him a bike.

He strikes me as a guy that'll be signed for a reasonable price & prove to you he's worth more with results.

I have asked repeatedly for examples of these burned bridges. No one replies with specific examples. I wish that these people would STFU unless they will back up their claims. Any guy riding top 5 at a national and getting better as the year has gone on even not being able to run the whole series deserves a ride. The industry should be embarrassed if he doesn't get a ride for next year.

Everytime I have dealt with Weston or Lou, they have been professional and awesome. Not sure what bridges people keep talking about. But they are stand up people. I just wish there was more I could do for them. Hoping this off season is going to be a good one. Definitely will try whatever I can to get whoever I know to take a second, third, fourth or more look at Weston. He has proved his worth.

^this. Lou has gone out of his way to help me out in a big way multiple times for absolutely no reason which says a lot about the character of the Peick family. Funny and down to earth family that some people around here like to go out of their way to trash. Blows my mind.

Congratulations to Weston. Sure takes the piss out of guys like Wiemer, Tickle, Brayton and many others etc, getting beat by a true privateer on a roached out bike!

HenryA no that didn't happen, it was only a tweeted rumor & imo borderline slander. Video of said incident was posted on here and showed a pissed off rider that flinched at an official. Once the video surfaced the accusers looked pretty damn stupid.

Any one with half of a brain could market this dude. He is a grown as man that stands out with stature and results. Funny how folks talk about burnt bridges but don't know shit but speculation.

I hope the dude gets a ride.

That said, outdoor results don't matter much. If they did, Metty and Alessi would have deals. You've got to do it in stadiums to get the ride.
