Why do this shit? This just keeps adding unwanted pressure. If he has a baggett year over there we will have to come on here and read all the shit that will be posted. Just let the kid race. Everyone here knows what he is capable of. Who knows how he will do though.

I don't think he will do amazing, but not saying he wont do well. I don't think the track will suit him as its quite tight

Will be interesting how he does against Roczen on Roczens home turf. Can't see anyone else in the MX2 class keeping with him.

I think hes going to make everyone else look silly.

Tomacs on a roll right now and has a ton of confidence. I think he'll win both his motos going away.

Are you calling for a Villopoto repeat of 07? Or are you saying he'll win the MX2 class in both motos?

It'll be interesting for sure. I think he'll get top ten in the first moto and top five in the second moto. I also think he will win his class. It kind of all depends on how they do the starts though. What Team USA should do is have Tomac pick last in both motos. Let him come through the pack like he does because he won't get a good start anyway. No reason to get two bad starts when you can just have one.

Remember a few weeks back, Everts said Herlings was faster than Kenny... but he didn't mention Eli's name, hrmmmm repeat of '07? It's possible. Eli is riding way more dominating in the 250 class right now then RV was in '07. He's crushing two World Champs and our last years 250 Champ. Competition alot stronger than what RV had...

I just like the confidence I see with him. He is probably tired of the crap talk about Herlings and wants to shut everyone up!

IF the current Eli Tomac shows up, we will see a RV'esque whoopin put on the field like Budds a few years ago.

I think he beats everyone, 450's, 350's enduro bikes, dualsports. He will leave the Euro riders girlfriends crying from pain and pleasure. French people will be using lots of hand gestures. Eastern block fans will smoke even more cigarettes.

Domination, total and complete. He might even take a break during the motos to kill some euro elk with his bow.

Tomac is kind of an idiot sometimes. Hopefully he'll do good over there. I think he's gonna see that it's harder than it looks.

In my book, Tomac is the cc-for-cc fastest man on the planet right now.

Unless something goofy happens he will be embarrassing a lot of Europeans in a few weeks.

Going to Teutschenthal is not the same as when Villopoto went to Budds Creek in 2007, a track that he had won 4 out of 4 motos at so far. Roczen always steps up his game at the des Nations, and he will be deadly at home. We really just have no idea how Tomac will ride in such a foreign environment. I could never feel inclined to say he will put a whooping on Cairoli, Herlings, Roczen, and Dungey, without seeing him ride there. Let's leave the speculation for after the qualifying races.

Well it will be about time a 250 guy steps up for Team USA. The last American 250 rider to do anything at an MXdN was RV in 2008.

And a dog born in a stable doesn't make it a horse...

I bet he's exited to return home,I think it's safe to say he's been faster in Europe at both the last two MXdN if you look at the competition he's been up against

As for Herlings,I just hope he's ok for the race,I want to see all these guys go at it!

No, the odds are in not in Tomac's favor. I believe Villopoto led every lap in 2007. I would not be surprised if Tomac won a moto against 450s though.

I like Tomac's attitude... he has a chip on his shoulder, some swagger..... NOW bring it. Cant wait for the MXDN

Hahahaha. This and TDeath21's reasoning for starting behind the 450 are solid gold.

If you take RV out of the equation I think Tomac could well take the 450 class as well as the 250 class
So in theory he could do it at the MXdN,but as you say the odds aren't as good, not being in the US

The track won't suit him and it's quite tight? The dude is on rails with corner speed off the charts. Have we seen have trouble with any surface? Probably fastest sand rider from the US, 250 or 450. Looked pretty good at Dilla, Washougal, etc. As far as his comment, I love it. He's in the groove and confident.

Ah, the mythical "faster in Europe" excuse. Are there riders that are faster in Canada than they are in the US?
