I only recall him wearing the tassel helmet at the 2000 Anaheim SX Rd. 2. He wasn't sure if he wore it in '99 or 2000...

Interesting that he won 3 championships on Yamaha, yet I didn't see any on display. Also interesting that If I remember right, when I saw a similar story about RC's house there was no Honda mounted on the wall of his entry way. Looks like all the former factory CRs are at Mc's place. Things that make you go hmmmmm...
Oh I'm sure both those guys have the other bikes too. I am sure with Ricky still getting paid by suzuki and the same with MC and honda they just keep them in storage or something.

I shoulda been faster.

In fact any racer who is in a slump, or considering flailing around the track green to checkered needs to see this video.

We were there too. That quad was insane. From our seats it looked like the riders heads were as high as the banners on the club level. My bro in law Joe Tuttobene went pro the next year.

Too many leeches around, lol.

I thought the best part of the video was he wasn't "shoo-ing" his kids away. Bet he is a good Dad.

I bet they love hearing stories about how he was the fastest motorcycle racer way back in the 90's!

That's a good point! Two boys would have been a different story- two girls- noth'in but eye-rolls.... It's a blessing, a son would have some monster shoes to fill- no thanks...

What is amazing too is the neighborhood that he lives in. It said Encinitas and judging by the video it is most likely in the Rancho Santa Fe/Olivenhain area. VERY expensive area in San Diego county where many successful athletes live.

What a life haha. He earned it tho, put supercross on the map.

As to the person who said he must still be getting good income, I'd definitely say so. Between Honda, where he still tests, SPY, and DC, plus whatever other sponsors I'm forgetting, I think it's safe to say he's still making more than enough to cover the high taxes for that expensive area.

Very, very cool.

if chad reed is worth 60 million, i can only imagine what MC is worth.

When you have that kind of money, you can live off investments pretty comfortably

From the look inside his fridge, I would say Monster still pays him.

Wow! Great to see a rider be able to maintain the good life after the drops of the gate. I had no idea Jeremy was getting' down like that. He's living it!

I too really enjoyed seeing his kid bouncing around with her pops.

Hated the lens it was shot with…fish eye?
