I guess i dont really associate a # with Carey Hart. More like back flips and tattoos. If they were to have a bike witha # on it it should be the #4. Kind of silly either way.

Is Watson at the Nationals?

Speaking of Carey, he just had back surgery today, not sure exactly what he had done, but i hope it all went good. He has put his body through a LOT!

It is a damn shame Peick isn't out there, I think he could be knocking on the door of the top 5 from time to time.

I couldn't agree more. He's one of the only riders that hasn't gotten on a team that did well more than deserve it. I think a lot of us are confused why he isn't doing the nationals for a good team. Crazy when you think about it.

Not that long ago Carey was a full time racer. He is a lot more than backflips and tattoos. Once upon a time he was also out there trying to qualify for pro MX and SX gates.

On one of my numerous trips to the RacerX vault I looked him up and he didn't accomplish a whole lot racing but it's pretty amazing what he's been able to do on the business side of things. Another fun one to look up is Ronnie Faisst. He qualified at LL's one time in the C class and got a midpack finish and it's been uphill ever since.

Yea I never claimed he was very good or successful. Most of my early memories of Carey are from day qualifiers in SX. Rarely did he make night shows, but he was out there and trying. But at his heart the dude is a racer.

Any chance of getting a decent photo of that helmet. From what I see it looks pretty nice, I'd like to see the rest of it.

i battled Faisst at unadilla amature day back in like 93/94 timeframe. I just remember his dad yelling at him and me. I dropped anchor on last lap and blocked ronnie the whole last lap to win it. lol. Tongue think it was 125b class at the time.

next time i heard that name he was in x-games doing freestyle....loaded with tatoos

Changed the sport of freestyle MX. Everyone, even us MX'ers in the pits of the national that weekend was talking about this.

He was SO high up there.
