1993? Whatever... I'm fairly certain Brandon was doing backflips from a a dead start on 60's in the 1980s.

The question should be... "who can't do backflips?"

Anybody with a number under 198 should have the skils. 199 and over probably not...

Should've, would've, could've... History has proven that if you have a number higher than 74 you should avoid backflips at all costs!

First ever big boy bike backflip landed to dirt (Well mulch, but whatever) was Caleb Wyatt on April 25, 2002 at the Rogue Valley Motocross track, Southern Oregons . Hart stole his shine Imo, Wyatt went on to win X gold best trick with a no hander flip over 90ft gap.

I seem to remember in an issue of "crash &burn" magazine (remember that one?) some pics of a guy who used to do huge backflips into a tank of water the size of a large swimming pool at monster truck shows and such. believe it was the 1980's and if I recall correctly he was on a 1985 YZ125. which should have been flipped into a tank of water , really

The only number capable of backflipping that is 'higher' than 198...is 420!

Lots of 'em do it nowdays on 'big bikes'. It only counts if it has happened to dirt. Count all the current, and all the retired, plus all the international riders that we have no idea of, and I bet it is into the many hundreds.
