I knew Jimmy in high school. Lived down the street from him and was always over at his house. He was an animal on the bike. He was always training. Great parents and family. The way they all helped out is what motocross is all about. It would be cool to see him back at Loretta's in the vet pro class.

Its ok....I figure they are hard to come by....just brings me back....i raced these bikes as a amateur at arenacross when he was killing it then! Thanks for all the pics you post! brings back memory's! Smile

Yes, They were sweet bikes! Loved them! well...while they were new anyway. Kawi's back then had a way of getting alittle worn out feeling quick!

I rode Yamaha's back in the 1980's, but still loved the Suzuki look. VERY clean. I remember watching a race at Carlsbad in 1987 and thinking how awesome Gaddis and Antunez looked.

Here is a couple pics of Jimmy's 98 arena cross bike. Its a friends and has been sitting for many years. I'm going thru it and doing a little work to it. I can take some better pics when I'm done if anyone is interested.

Loved him using the 1989 Conventional Forks that season. Also many don't know the he used a Production FACTORY CONNECTION Revalved Shock on his 1989 Team Suzuki RM125 Factory Bike. Old Super Motocross Magazine did a story on it.

Note: Bob Hannah used Factory Connection Revalved Suspension on his 1989 RM's also, except his 250 USGP Bike.

Probably 88, Antunez on 76. The were a ton of guys that came off 80s into the 125s in 88 and 89.

It's Ponca City '87, has Jeff Emig, John Kitch, Colin Edwards, Butch Smith, Tommy Clowers, Grayson Goodman, Chris Neal, Joel Albrecht and possibly Jack Ricks.
