mean...just got roosted......
I like Brayton but he has been struggling with injuries and just some of the worst luck ever. Grant, bye. his time is over and the team needs to somehow get Cooper Webb or that program under their umbrella.

I certainly hope so anyway.
Maybe the new Yamaha will help next year. Could they be tryng too much to improve the bike and that is what is causing issues. Might be just a little bad luck. Hope they get back on track.

Not having a factory team has put Yamaha in the hole on bike development and refinement, which has brought them to having the worst bikes in both classes. The best riders, the ones who will win races and championships, want to ride the best bikes. Right now the best bikes aren't sporting blue plastic, and they haven't been for a few years now.
Not saying the YZF's are crap, not at all, but not having the in house factory team has let the bikes lag behind in development from the other OEMs. At the very least they need a strong factory 250 effort to breed talent (like PC or Geico). I think that's what they're trying to do with Star Racing but the results haven't been there (and neither has a long term title sponsor, if you'll notice.)
To add insult to injury, having two other support teams (whichever one Kiniry was on and also Valli) fold, and Eleven-Ten probably not long for this world just makes them look even more like the 5th wheel.
2009 grant was amazing at A1, Milleville, Redbud and a few other places. In 2010 I remember him catching, passing, pulling Dungey at Lakewood. He gets good ride after good ride because if he can get shit to click he's dangerous.
