For Washougal I understand why they don't let you bring in coolers of beer like they used to (miss those days). Repeated issues with drunk tough guy idiots ruined the fun for everyone. It is a shame, I loved having a cold beer on the hill watching the nationals. Now they have the beer garden conveniently located on a stretch of track where you can't see but a small part of the whoops.

Being that weed is legal here now, I am betting you may have more odd scents coming from the woods than you used to. I personally want to be awake and alert watching races, but betting there is more puffing nonetheless.

Back to folks ruining the fun for everyone, I am sure it is like that everywhere. Sucks.
Washougal back in the day was awesome and always fun.
Seems like most the real problems were always the night before.
I remember one year (88 or 89) MotoSmith ending up on the old MotoWorld show for a beer slip slide they had going on the down hill. Smile

Well triple 5, I will be at Lakewood next week and I also will be out looking for riff raff bringing booze into the track. If I find anyone with booze, I will promptly confiscate it. Then I will take it to Red Bud and drink the shit out of it. Laughing

How about you leave the booze home and bring a joint instead. That way those of us that actually go to a National to watch a race will not have to put up with the obnoxious stinky drunks making fools of themselves by puking and pissing on themselves. You know there are bars or gutters where your drunk ass will fit in just fine

Sneaking booze into an event is absolutely REPREHENSIBLE. I would never want to associate myself with the type of character that would even for a moment consider this deviant behavior. It is strictly prohibited at many events for many fantastic reasons.

Unfortunately for us, the scum of the earth happens to be resilient; seemingly defying these just prohibitions without remorse.

I have intentions on attending an upcoming outdoor national and I refuse to let these grave injustices transpire right infront of my eyes. I refuse to look back at these days and think, "maybe if I would have done something to stop them this world would be a better place." I will be taking action this summer. I cannot say for sure exactly what I will do when I have an offender in my custody, but I'm 100% confident that my adrenaline influenced rage will inspire swift and just punishment - recourse that is long overdue.

I have a vigelante-like vendetta, a blood-lust if you will -- but before I can competently combat these evils I must first come to understand my enemy. I have to be able to think like a psychopath in order to stop the psychopath from perpetrating these unthinkable acts. In an effort to undermine this despicable behavior I truly believe that knowledge is power and this is why I come to you today.

As I walk the pits, what type of alcohol camouflage should I be training my eyes for? Recognizing that hard liquor is infinitely easier to disguise, I'm going to focus my efforts on the most brazen vermin - beer drinkers. What is the most covert way to sneak beer into a race? I know that coolers will be checked, but what about backpacks? Is it always a lone-wolf scenario or could our enemies be working in cells? Could a scum-bag roll up to the gate with a cooler filled with nothing but ice and stare down security guard in a way that only a hardened career-transgressor could, and then later meet up with a buddy with a 12-pack in his backpack?

I want your ideas. Give me every possible method you can think of that these scum bags could use to try and subvert this great sport. When it comes down to it, it is our freedom that is being attacked by these evildoers.
You, ma'am, are a pussy.

I can't call you a man for being such a bitch.

Last summer I attended Freestone, and since its in a dry county, you couldnt buy it...But you COULD bring it. I found the biggest ice chest that I could, bought a all terrain wagon from Home Depot, and walked right in with 96 beers (48 Coors Light and 48 Bud Light) Along with 24 waters and 100 Jello shots.. Man that was fun.

You have been hitting the Antabuse way too hard. Thunder Valley as you know is in the back yard of the Coors factory. There are beer carts all over the mountain, and as many people there for the love of beer as for the love of the sport. Trying to take even one of those fans beers away is going to end in a bad way.

What if someone were to say drink a lot of beer outside of the gates. Then enter the gates and proceed to fill up as many empty cups of pee possible for all their bro's???

Disgusting? For some yes. But for others? Clever.

You'll see me at Lakewood - I'll be the bold freedom fighter slapping the devil's brew out of people's hands.

I WILL stand up for what I think is right, I have no reservations about it.

Some guys are a little slow on the upshift today. Just to help though, when you go to Thunder Valley be on the lookout for a certain photographer, heard he gets wasted right before the first 450 moto. Good hunting.

I'm prepared to run across the track to stop something like that from happening.

None of your business what other people are drinking is it? Land of the free eh..? explain that gibberish to your forefathers! freedom = pussies moaning about grown men drinking a beer in the sun at a moto race, or freedom to fish on internet forums. Either or!

Just take a 12 pack of soda and take the fridge opening off. Then pull out all the soda, put 9 beers in the back then put 2 sodas up front so it looks like it's a 12 pack of soda.

I don't drink beer, nor do I like alcohol. But if they sell beer inside the gates, i do not like that you are not allowed to bring your own beer into the facility
