Who is your top three for each class at season's end?

450:

1. Dungey
2. Villopoto
3. Alessi

250:

1. Roczen
2. Baggett
3. Musquin

Realistically, I have no idea, and I love it.

450

2. Dungey
3. Barcia

250

1. Tomac
2. Bagget
3. Musquin

Dungey has never beat Villopoto for a title where Villopoto raced the whole series. I just don't see that changing anytime soon. But Villopoto has proven he can knock himself out of a series pretty easily. I think Tomac will come out swinging for his final shot at the 250 title and it'll be close between him and Bagget.

If it wasn't for running out of fuel at TX and thereby getting a DNF, while leading on 2nd to last lap Dungey would have EASILY beat RV2 for the outdoor championship.
Then, at Southwick in the same season he spots the entire field 7/8 of a lap, and still finished 4th.
Dungey had poto more than covered that year, but due only to mechanicals, poto was gifted.

That's what I said but it's racing and anything can happen so you can't count the what ifs.

Dungey had more than enough opportunities to get RV back towards the end, but he couldn't pull it off. Had Dungey not DNF'd due to gas, Villopoto might've stepped it up earlier in the series. Woulda', coulda', shoulda. Fact is Dungey has never beat him when he raced a full series. Get over it.

RV and Baggett. The only thing that can stop that from happening would be injuries or if a crazy Brazilian photgrapher ran out on the track

Stepped it up eariler?? Was Kawasaki gonna release the 2012 model at RD.3 that year? RV didnt really step up he owned the smoth first moto's of the year it wasnt until he got his 2012 that he really strated to rail. Mechincals happend, 3 of em cost Dungey both titles that year its part of racing. He was handed 2010 so to speak and 2011 is when bad luck caught up to him.

This one is easy, if RV stay healthy he's the champ. If he finishes the series he will win the title. Been like that his whole career. Stew and dungey fans better pray he gets hurt.

I would like it to end like this but the 450 field is so freaking deep, I dunno. It's gonna be a great summer!!!

450:

*I think Stewart will have the early points lead but will miss some rounds due to injury and Reed isn't going to be able to run the pace of Dungey/Villopoto.

Duh, Dungey!
5/13/2013 3:10pm
LOL......RV owns Dungey wherever the races takes place, indoors, outdoors, it don't matter!! Like others have said, a healthy RV does nothing but win championships....sure RD had a few mechanicals over the years, but to every champion there is an element of luck, RC has said that several times and RD had luck on his side when RV gave him his first indoor title on the 450's.

1. RV (wins 2/3rds of the motos)
2. RD
3. CR

1. Tomac
2. Baggett
3. Roczen

Damn, the little bike class is tough to call. I think Moooosecan is going to be a title contender as he has found his groove, and there are 5 or 6 other guys who can win motos on any given weekend. Its going to be great!!!!

I predict there will be two champions: one in each class.

Personally, I'd love to see Stewart get it in the big bores, but if he's struggling to make wins happen in a 20 lap SX, I'm not sure how he'd last both motos outdoors, much less the whole season.

250's: Hoping Tomac, but thinking Roczen.

I really don't care, as long as the guys stay off the ground, healthy, and the racing is tight. Although RC was my favorite leprechaun, I mean rider, I didn't enjoy his running away with everything all the time.

If JS7 makes the entire series, he's the champ by a nose on RV2. With that said, he will probably crash out half way through.

So......
RV2
RD5
JB51

Lol watch the 2011 season again Dungey ran off and left Villopoto at Hangtown, Freestone, Budds Creek, Millville, Washougal but whatever you say man. The ginger-ninja is just unbeatable, he was just kind enough in 2013 to let Dungey, Barcia, and Milsaps to win a race. He is sooo great he even made those loses look legitimate!

It's hard to predict anything with the amount of talent this year. I'm gonna say James Stewart for the 450 class and Tomac for the 250 class.

And what were the final outcome of both series? 'Nuff said.

Never said he would win every single race he enters....just championships Wink
