Racer x tweeted jlaw still wasn't signed up to race Hangtown (1-2 days ago), does anybody have anymore info on this? What's the latest you can register for a pro national?!
I say it's Zachs #. He's the only one that's racing with that number and has been. RC, Baggot and myself all run #4 on our bikes, so who's the real #4?!

EXACTLY.

BB runs four - but we all know who "4" is....

Zach runs #338 - we know who the real 338 is...

It belongs to Zach. J-law hasn't raced in too long. He'll have to choose a new number and buy new jerseys.
That said, I wish him well!

Staying with Hansen before Hangtown is probably not the best way to prep for your return to the Nationals.

It's 2 weeks that your suppose to pre-enter by but they will give you a exception for certain cases. But I imagine the AMA isn't giving him any favors so I wouldn't count on him being at the starting line.

Does it matter, neither will have it come sx next season. Zac, is going to have to get a new number next year anyway. Gawd, I hate the numbering system. Did it really mean anything to have Roczen use #70 last year? Dude wanted his old number, now has it. Number system needs to be axed.

I'm with the group of if you have to tell people your the "Real" anything, your probabley not.

Zach ran the number as an am. It's his. Not to mention Jason lost his right when he never showed up.

BOTTOM LINE: Zach's number for 2013 is 338. Jason is on the couch, or at least not at the races. Zach will score points and have a two digit number for 2014. If he does what he's being paid for, he can chose to keep 338, or run the number 1.

Every now and then I glance at the twitter feed on racer x's website and saw this posted by Larry Linkogle on Stenberg's twitter http://instagram.com/p/ZI7GmJqjok/# hard to imagine Lawrence being ready for Hangtown when he's hanging out with these guys. If he was that serious he'd be in all these outdoor practice vids one would think. Like some I had hopes that he'd be on the gate and had turned things around in his life but that I'm not holding my breath unfortunately of him being on the gate, but I do hope he's turned it around regardless.

How is there even a dispute over this. Topic isn't about who is racing or who is better. Jason will always be the real THREE THIIRTY ATE! controversy sells, and it wont matter if its 15 years from now. everyone will always associate 338 with Jay! Not on the same level but 14 will always be associated w Windham,4 Ricky the Ginger, 2 Villo the ginger. I don't even understand why osbourne would even wanna rock that number anyway............ He should have to buy the number off of Jason if he wants to run it, Just like the ! ball sports atheletes do!

i saw one of the two 338's inside the Industry area at X-Fighters yesterday (Zach), and i saw the other one get rejected because he didn't have a pass (Jason).... i think that tells a story in itself

can't believe this even got asked, or that this thread will settle it...

I highly doubt many will remember J-Law at all in 15yrs, never mind that he's the "real 338." Lechien is remembered because he won a National title and when he was on he could destroy the best in the world. J-Law? Not even close

That's a good point...

Who are people going to remember more in 15 years, Lawrence or ZO?

Settled Smile

He looks fast in the Pala video. Corner speed is awesome!
Jason Lawrence (J-Law) At Pala Raceway
Awesome.

My old buddy from back in the old days (early 1980's) is on there also running #419 Britt Woodring.
Cool to see him on the entry list and still spinning laps,he has got to be 40 pushing 41.

3 Digit numbers are a thing of the past until the AMA changes that rule. Who cares! They both ran that number, and Lawrence accomplished way more success and way more fan base (in America) with it than Zach, who I also like. Next year neither one of them will even be the fake 338 so who cares
