24:53 min mark of this video Is what single handedly makes old school coverage better than now days. People can relate to it. I wish the coverage now days would go into the pits. Plus it made me Woohoo Grinning Grinning because i can relate

On another note what have you had to bash back in place, without the proper tools? lol

That track is so much cooler than the cookie-cutter stuff they are running today. Whoops were huge!

I laughed out loud after the one guy started drop kicking the side number plate in an attempt to fix the subframe.

They actually had rider cams and did you see how empty the stadium was in the upper levels? The sport
seems to have picked up a bit more of a following since those days. I agree pit interviews with team members is something they should get back into covering. That was cool to see.

Good luck getting teams to give you that access now.

This old vs. new school debate is kinda stupid. Was old school stuff perfect?...far from it. Is new school any better? Hardly.

It's an argument that can't be won. How about we just enjoying the fact that we get to watch racing on TV...from back in the day to last weekend.

If you can do it better, then do it better. Its easier to be a critic than to actually invest the money to go and do it yourself.

It's amazing watching those races now, it looks like they were going in slow motion compared to today's races. Not to discredit the riders, the bikes have come a long way and the tracks are completely different. How interesting would it be if they were to build exact replicas of these tracks for today's races?

Modern 4- stroke guys would hate that track. Too many obstacles and too tight.

I think it would make for better racing though.

I imagine if any of today's riders went back in time with their current bike, just got dumped right into that video then they would be able to attack it a lot more and make it look more like a track of today
