For anyone who cares, it's doing a lot better this week. I clipped out the stitches yesterday, and swelling is way down. I broke in my new camera last week, but this week will probably be a lot easier to shoot. Well, that, and I won't have to tell the same story hundreds of times.

Glad you are doing better Steve. I had almost the exact same injury many years ago when I took a sucker punch uppercut when I had my head down. Only a few stitches but it took months for my eye to be right again.

Yeh because shooting someone because they punch you in the face is the way to go.

You shouldn't own a gun with that statement. I carry.. and there's no way I would pull it out unless I feared for my life. I don't use it to scare people. I use it to protect myself and others around me if something tragic was to jump off. You wouldn't know I had one until it was too late and there's 2 holes in ur chest. But... If someone sucker punched me I would try to kick their ass. And then press charges for assault. Not wave my gun around or wear it on my hip for everyone to see.

Think about it... If you wear it on your hip and a man comes in to kill everyone and sees your gun. Who is he shooting first? And I know a guy who went to jail because another guy called the cops and said he pointed his gun at him and the guy never took it outo his holster. Concealed carry is the way to go. And use responsibility when carrying and don't let anyone see it unless you plan on shooting someone.
