Damn i am sooo stoked for good ole Phil Massa! out Q's the teams "golden child" Shocked

Well done Felipe! I really dig that guy, amazing what he has been through, recovering from the nasty injury, and always treated like the "red headed step child" and he put the car in almost the best poss position.

Watch, he will get team orders on lap ONE to let Nando by, that has got to be sooo frustrating. Angry

That was a good lap by Massa. It seems as if he is getting back to his old form before his gnarly accident. It sucks that there are so many politics in racing. I hope they let him race and go for the win, but as you said he is definitely the red headed step child on the team. And I'm digging the avatar Scottie! Looks good and seems to be performing well Tongue

Damn Chris, remember just how gnarly that accident was? and for the spring to come off from his good buddy's car hard to be so heartbreaking for Rubens. Both those guys are pure class!

..and i could not agree more, great to see him "back" He did show a few flashes of it last year.

btw: how about when they show his poppa in the pits? They look so much alike Cool Seems like they have an awesome family dynamic and are really good people.

Looks can be deceiving - and that setup looks almost like something you could pick-up at your local dealer. Here's hoping that Vale can put ALL the Spaniards in their place.

With qualifying over, everyone was on inters, if the track is dry do they have to start on those tyres?

If the conditions are dry for the start they can choose what tire to start on. This weekend they can choose between the hard

(prime) or the medium (option) compound tire. Pirelli brings 2 compounds to each race and it just depends on the track's

abrasiveness as to how grippy of tires they bring. They make a total 4 different compounds (hard, meduim, soft, and super

soft) that they can bring to any given race. The teams must also use both compounds throughout the race, unless it starts

raining and they have to switch to intermediate or full wet tires. Once they switch to the rain tires then the rule of using both

tire compounds is void. Hope that helps Tiki.

Heat index is 104f. Turn 3 still looks quite wet but most of the track is dry. Top 12 all on inters.
