I've seen pictures of factory bikes running modified foot pegs that are taller than stock for the riders with shorter legs. Before I go to Ebay and buy a couple of peg-sets to hack up and modify, i'm curious to know if any aftermarket companies make a peg that has the ability to purchased in different height variations?

I am only seeing Pro Taper offering an additonal cleat replacement that is +5mm, but that's not even 1/4"

mxtech1. I have been looking for the same thing for an RM250, and a YZ125, with no luck. If I hook up, I'll let you know. Please do the same.

I have an idea for you.. have you seen the fastway evo pegs? https://www.denniskirk.com/dk/product_images/16/1200pix/16200375.jpg
if you make a spacer the same shape as the footpeg out of aluminium, and switch to longer cleet bolts that go through the spacer. you can put a couple of nuts on the bolts to secure the spacer. might not look the prettiest but would be easy to make, easy to try out different heights and you will not have to ruin a set of pegs. let me know if it sounds interresting and I can draw something up in mspaint to explain better. cheers!

I would just cut off the tops of a set of pegs and weld them to the tops of the original pegs.

I searched for a long time about same topic, for my wife's 250's, she's only 5'1". Talked to a lot of different "experts" and most of them say you can't raise them very much without adversely affecting the handling and balance of geometry. We ended up getting those ProTaper 2.3 Platform pegs with the +5 cleats and she really likes them and did notice an improved ht. I got them too with standard ht., good quality pegs.

I've got really short legs and have no problem with stock pegs. I can't really understand why anyone would want their pegs higher. Having them lower just makes it easier to stand up. Less distance to get your butt off the seat.

Less distance to be able to absorb the big hits with your knees before the seat slaps your ass too.

You could weld a piece around the outside of the peg:
