Hey OCScottie, I grew up with an ATC 110.
One ride on my 1977 YZ80 cured me of my love for anything with more than 2 wheels.

Around age 16 I thought I had the stoppie all figured out on my sweet KX250.

Husky pants, ACDC shirt, flat-white helmet at some sand dunes.
Ronnie Mac is just another modern immitation of my sick style.

Beverly! I remember Smail Ripping there!

Falcon: Me on my '82 RM80 circa 1983:

Flacon, seeing that pic brings so many rad memories! i also had an '82 RM80, i loved that bike. The top end went to the moon! My pops surprised me and showed up while i was at soccer practice w/ it in the back of our van.

Wish my scanner worked, but here are a couple pics on it, not so much embarrassing, except the "cross up" in the 1st pic lol

Riding a Hollister Hills (anyone remember Dean Matson? that is him on the left of the pic, we go way back to when just kids, had some great times growing up! and if you knew Dean, "you know why" he is a nut! lol) My killer "cross up" Laughing

Another in '82 at Santa Clara PAL when they moved it across from Great America (The NorCal dudes will remember those days) I know i have posted that pic a million times, but on a day like today, i have been looking at a lot of my riding pics. Its the anniversary of my accident.

Some examples Dizzy

Every freakin year my mom would take us to "Olan Mills" and have our pics taken in our riding gear, some are hilarious!

Check out my awesome lid! w/ a football faceguard bolted onto it and everything lol

oh ok yeah that doesn't sound embarrassing at all haha

oow she's crispy clean now

those gloves that i'm wearing in the first pic were made of this weird 100% fake leather and the night before a big race my dad soaked them in some vegetable (maybe) oil to soften them and I asked "won't they be slippery now dad"
"nah no worries son" was his confident reply
well, cut to me goin up the start straight and struggling to even turn the throttle and anything I would get would just 'unturn' in my hand I ended stopping up turfing them halfway round the first lap
he still laughs at the language this little blonde kid was yelling every time he got within earshot haha

This video has it all, but worst part is maybe me trying to whip my dad's KX500 or crashing while trying to whip for checkers...BTW there is also a shot of Factory FMF/KTM Team Manager Antti Kallonen riding KX80 back in day.

Nice to see goon riding has no borders. You give a kid a bike anywhere in the world and they will find their own way to look like a dork.Smile

Sporting a Ski Doo suit & open face back around 1980ish at a Woodland MX Mudder.

oldschool PIR Monday practice.

Heading to the line at Woodland MX 1978 on a jr50

I think this one is 1980ish Woodland MX 50/60 expert class...There was only 3 of us most of the time.

OC I see you had to endure trying to moto on a twin shock POS. Wish I still had the pictures of me trying to race my SL70 in Marysville, it was awful. They got ruined in the flood of 87 I think. Crazy we grew up within 50 miles of each other, wish I would have known you back then.

The hair and the pink Gear gear are the embarassing parts of this photo.
