All of the guys in both LCQ's are incredible athletes, amazing young men, deserving the utmost respect.
But somehow, you read this crap, listen to the commentators on network tv and some of the moto press, and you think only Villo is the one who works hard and deserves a good word.
pathetic
Sad part is once again they dropped the ball on rider sponsors. Emig "Im sure AJ has some great sponsors supporting him" Jesus dude use that iphone for something other than mad skills! amasupercross.com heard of it? shows sponsors... felt sorry for the Pilgrim Powersports/Pickett Weaponry/TLR/Tirestickers Team that shells out the cash
As far as RCH goes, its pretty obvious what he has going on.
They wanted a consistent rider like Tickle, who, although he might not be a title contender, he will be on the gate every weekend. What this allows a new team is time to iron out the kinks, and get their program in line. Then, they can pick up the talent, and go after a title. L&Mc said this explicitly about their effort with Short. I think JGR is STILL doing it, and waiting for a better Yamaha in the meantime.
I also think their intentions were to steal the factory Suzuki effort away from Yoshimura, eventually. They figured if San Manuel could do it with Yamaha, Yoshi could do it with Suzuki, then they could do it, too.
And the RC comment was fuckin hilarious! lol
I just think RC sees more in Tickle than Tickle sees in himself and THAT probably pisses RC off. You have to BELIEVE that you CAN win before you can ACTUALLY win. We all know there is tremendous up side to Tickle and the talent is there but as we all know with sports a lot of it is "mental" and in my eyes that's what he's fighting right now. But with that being said I still think he's doing a hell of a job and will continue to get better.
Weimer has done fine for himself. He was 3rd in the series last year and doing well in a super competitive field this year before breaking his ribs. Yea he sucked this last weekend but he's nowhere near fully healed yet. Just good enough to ride. He's not on the short list of guys who will win on pure speed but he's definitely the next level back even with Brayton when healthy. A guy with the speed to put in some impressive results when it comes together for him. Tickle has never shown that even after everyone got hurt last year.
I hope he gets fired. And for god sakes, give Fro a joint and I'll bet he will be coining more words than preparated.
