I've actually knocked my bike off the stand with my helmet.LOL You can get pretty POed in a 3hr + hair scramble when the clutch cable lets go. If launching a helmets a no no i'm just off the charts, done that many times, but im just a red headed hot head at times and hate loosing.LOL I like seeing that stuff, it shows they have heart!

By the way, it's thread titles like these that are some of the most disrespectful threads. calling a professional racer an idiot because he was mad over results and it got caught on tv was not something he did on purpose. Dumbgeon material!
So you think you should be respected solely on the way you ride a motorcycle ?

Kicking the bike off the stand on national TV is disrespectful.

500guy is the ex-champion of the mx world. So when he was on top he didn't do those kinda shenanigans. He also knows since a privateer rode a 2stroke and didn't make the main that 2strokes are dead from racing (zero chance of making it). Basically, he's wicked smart...
To be fair if you kicked a bike off the stand during his "championship" days the bike probably WOULD have broken.

"on national TV" like the dude knew he had a camera zoomed in on him from 800 feet away lol. That's like saying Chad and Stew don't get rides anymore because they had a confrontation in the pits. Oh, wait a minute...

I am surprised no one has mentioned how clean Peick and Kiniry battled. I'm sure there was some emotions from thinking he didn't make the main and he could have taken Kiniry out and made it in

Pieck reminds me of Al in The Naked Gun movie. Al's the lab assistant that wipes half of a Banana off his face when Leslie Nielson says " Hey Al, you've got something on your face.". THUD !

I support Weston and will continue to do so.
I find so much humor in how many of you contradict yourselves.
In another thread, some of you talk shit about a rider not riding with heart or living up to the level of ride he has, and then you talk shit about Peick having some emotion for thinking he didn't get the job done and losing money or talk shit about Vince Friese for not willingly giving up his position and fighting for it like a racer should.

I'll give support to any rider who displays some sack, some emotion and doesn't roll over because some factory guy is on his ass.

Man I am so glad there wasn't a camera around to record even a fraction of the boners I've pulled. Kudo's to all the perfect people living regret free lives. Honestly, if he or anyone continued or repeatedly displayed bad judgement then maybe there'd be a legit discussion about it...but I saw it and just thought..."well at least it's better than kicking his dog". He either won't do it again or he will. I'll hold my opinion. I do have to say that his and Kiniry's battle was one of the highlights of the night...had my heart rate bumpin' the rev limiter.

Remember it's Weston Peick we're talking about here...if he stared at the bike long enough it would have fallen off the stand anyway. This really is no big deal.

People talk about disrespect, unprofessional conduct, poor self control, etc etc etc, yet they come on a public forum and call a pro rider, in the sport they claim they love, a douchebag, a loser and a piece of shit. A guy that's devoted his entire LIFE to the sport, just trying to make a few dollars while his body and money hold out.

Pot calling the kettle black of the worst sort.

Sometimes I'm ashamed to tell people I'm involved in this sport. Fucking brutal.

There are VERY few people on Vital that "get it".

Dave is one of the few.

Weston Pieck once kicked 'the NOOB" after finishing 3rd in an LCQ

That explains a lot...

One more thing, not everyone has a 18-wheeler team rig or class A motorhome to throw their shit-fit temper tantrum hissy fit in private.

Guys like Weston are parked in an open garage at Daytona with no where to hide.

Any press is good press. And after all that, he spoke amazingly well when they interviewed him.

Disrespectful? To? The guy was pissed because he thought he didn't make the main and kicked his back tire. Big freaking deal. It's called emotion, and it can be seen in every other competitive sport in the world. What an idiotic thread.

Ha ha , no kidding...ever see ball players who attack the Gatorade cooler with a bat when they get back to the dugout when they're pissed? I don't watch much baseball but there's been plenty of those highlights on ESPN.

Not one person has said anything about the directors decision to make one of their "performers" look like an asshole at the expense of a guy struggling to make a life as a pro racer. Think they would have done that if there was a Monster logo on his jersey?

It seems funny that they have a couple cameras covering the track action, which they sometimes miss, but is it really a priority to follow a guy back to the pits in case something dramatic happens? If it wasn't their camera, they sure got it on the screen in a hurry.Drama fans, sheer drama...

WTF???? Just painfully watched that video.

And he's got the balls to call Weston an idiot?

BUT: I'm not surprised at all. Just confirms what these Interweb Expert Vitards actually look, talk & live like.

Jay you need a Queer Eye for the 500guy sponsorship.
