I know in the "Who's Going To Win Daytona" thread, I picked Stewart to win (I'm a fan...so sue me!)...but I just can't help but get a gut feeling it might be Chad Reed's day to shine. His attitude has turned 100%, his bike is obviously more to his liking, and like they say "he's due".

What do you think?

I was kinda feeling that this morning too, I think this is the one chance he has to be with RV1 and JS7. I'm not willing to stamp that yet though.

Have to agree. Nobody hurt this year yet, and it's the hottest season in years. Daytona is going to be epic no matter what...but it just seemed in his solo interview and the one he did with RC that his mood is elevated. Looks like Reed is starting to have some fun...and you know that when he's having fun & comfortable...he's a hard man to beat.

Just occured to me that he was saying he felt #bouncy last the week before the Newcastle SX down here, which we've now found out that that was when he was using his old 2012 forks last...

People forget that Reed gave Dungey and RV2 all they could handle outdoors before he decided to try and get a red bull sponsorship by flying off that jump into the stratosphere.
Him and Stewart are no joke outdoors or at Daytona.

You may have a point, but Reed did set his fast time on lap 17 last week. But this track could take a toll on the knee.
